We're looking for an experienced and passionate Research Operations Specialist to join our team in New York City. In this role, you will be the backbone of our research efforts, ensuring our User Research team is equipped with the right tools, processes, and support to deliver the best-in-class integrated fitness and wellness experiences our members know and love.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT

  • Coordinate research studies: Manage all logistics for a variety of research methodologies, including moderated and unmoderated usability studies, surveys, focus groups, and in-home interviews.
  • Recruit and manage participants: Source research participants from our user database and other third-party sources. You'll also be the main point of contact for participants, managing all communications, scheduling, study preparation, and incentive delivery.
  • Ensure a positive participant experience: Ensure every member who participates has a positive and seamless experience with Peloton.
  • Optimize processes: Define and manage standardized processes for the team, including participant recruitment, ethical research practices, and global legal and business guidelines. You'll create standards that help the team be more efficient and effective.
  • Manage tools & vendors: Maintain and manage the team's research tools, equipment, software licenses, and vendor relationships. You'll also proactively explore new tools and manage vendor onboarding to ensure the team is always set up for success.
  • Create and deliver training: Develop training and documentation for our tools, ensuring the team is getting maximum value from our resources.
  • Manage budgets: Oversee all research study-related budgets, including tracking and timely payments.
  • Build collaborative relationships: Partner with various teams across the company to support our research efforts, including Product Analytics and Member Experience.
  • Maintain knowledge bases: Organize and maintain a central database of past and upcoming research projects, and manage internal research communications.
  • Engage communities: Build and engage research communities to support ongoing and on-demand research needs.
  • Plan team events: Partner with research leadership to plan strategy and content for team events.

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • Exceptional attention to detail: You have a strong ability to organize information and coordinate multiple simultaneous projects with different timelines.
  • Proactive problem-solving: You are dependable and proactive, able to anticipate issues, solve problems, and pivot when priorities change.
  • Effective communication: You excel at communicating with a wide variety of people, from research participants to internal stakeholders, and can confidently train others on our tools.
  • Process optimization expertise: You are skilled at defining and optimizing processes and can act on prioritized opportunities to improve team efficiency.
  • Relationship management: You have expertise in managing relationships with team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Passion for user research: You are passionate about user-centered design, user research, and fostering a positive customer experience. You also understand the value of user research and have a perspective on various research methodologies.
  • Experience: You have 3+ years of relevant experience and are familiar with (or willing to learn) user research software and tools.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including, without limitation, experience and business objectives and if the location for the job changes. $106,300$125,750 USD
