ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of Workplace Experience is a holistic approach to creating the optimal environment for employees to do their work. The Senior Workplace Specialist provides workplace services and administrative support to increase individual well-being, personal productivity, and organizational effectiveness. With a primary role in facilitation, this role is at the forefront of delivering a positive office experience via culinary, janitorial, maintenance and space planning programs. As part of the Workplace team, the Senior Workplace Specialist is responsible for creating a supportive and comfortable atmosphere for employees, colleagues, clients, interviewees, and visitors.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- An agile leader who is able to adjust quickly and support efficiently on various projects. Working with multiple departments and their leaders
- Deploy space and occupancy standards in support of company growth. Track and manage employee seating, adds, terminations
- Drive and help implement process improvements and procedures where gaps are found
- Will partner with team members on maintaining the “Workplace Playbook” for the studio
- Managerial responsibility for the Workplace Coordinators and Concierge team
- Bridges the gap between the Facilities team and subcontractors
- Daily workplace operational support in liaising with property management team
- Driving and supporting various ad-hoc projects within the operations team
- Providing insight and be a thought leader to the leadership team
- Consistently acts in a professional manner that improves team member experience
- Triage work orders to increase costs savings
- Arrange for repairs and preventative maintenance of all assets
- Dispatch, monitor and coordinate all vendor activities
- Liaising with vendors and suppliers
- Approve, decline and audit vendor invoices
- Monitoring of all regular and ad-hoc facility related expenses
- Monitoring of budget spending
- Conduct market research and compare the costs of services
- Evaluate potential new vendors within a given market,
- Work with Regional Ops Manager to establish site specific facilities budgets
- Research new services to facilitate operations
- Coordinate site specific permits (racking, fire, life and safety)
- Ensure compliance of health and safety regulations
- Ensure vendor COI, licenses, bonding and other related requirements are up to date
- Work with Facility Manager to review facilities related lease obligations
- Work with Facility Manager to establish vendor KPI’s
- Provide continuous updates / optimization to Service Channel CMMS
- Documenting processes and upkeep of maintenance records
- Serve as a conduit between the landlord(s) and Peloton
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- 3+ years experience in project management, hospitality, providing facility oversight, coordinating day-to-day office operations, and providing office maintenance support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in working in a fast-paced and dynamic office or hospitality environment.
- Able to represent Peloton Interactive with professionalism, integrity, and a strong customer service attitude.
- A hardworking team player willing to tackle anything from small internal administrative tasks to high-profile requests.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to coordinate, prioritize and lead multiple responsibilities.
- An independent and proactive self-starter who is motivated to tackle additional responsibilities over time.
- Collaborative with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to integrate quickly into a small team.
- Able to work in an environment that requires discretion in taking care of confidential matters.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
