ABOUT THE ROLE

The Community Trust and Safety Operations Manager reports to the Director of Community and will ensure Trust and Safety moderation efforts are set up to scale with efficiency and quality across the Peloton platform. The ideal candidate for this role has prior experience managing outstanding user generated content moderation support, has a collaborative mentality, and is passionate about continuous improvement of systems and processes to support our community of global Members.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Manage global moderation operations team, including overseeing staffing plans, training, hiring needs, quality assurance, and building + maintaining standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain Peloton’s User Generated Content (UGC) Policy; partner with cross functional teams to build and maintain moderation policies that factor in product capabilities, legal risks, and brand safety.
  • Address difficult content moderation issues, balancing the safety and expression needs of our community, and operational challenges.
  • At Peloton, we put Members first, so this role may experience irregular work hours to handle safety-related escalations on our service, including weekends.
  • Cross-functional leadership; collaborate across different departments and provide leadership to ensure there is alignment between teams, regulations, processes, and systems.
  • Make hiring and vendor management decisions.

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • 5-7+ years of experience with user content moderation.
  • 2-3+ years of management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience collecting, synthesizing, analyzing and visualizing complex sources of data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with cross functional stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, outstanding time management, communication and organization skills.
  • A continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Existing experience with content moderation systems like TwoHat/Community Sift.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range
$138,800$180,400 USD
