- Interpret, build upon, and comply with the Peloton’s quality assurance standards.
- Maintain the complaint, nonconformity, and corrective action procedure using records and tracking systems, including root-cause analysis.
- In conjunction with SQE, document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and support SQE in audits.
- Develop new standards for production and design, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for all service lines.
- Provide training/maintaining polyvalence and support contract manufacturers on the quality requirements, focusing on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes.
- Voice of Peloton onsite.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of products to verify conformance with specifications and deliverables.
- Lead in determination of the product quality assurance strategy within development projects.
- Participate in/initiate cross functional teams in the pursuit of effective problem solving and mistake proofing quality problems.
- Develop PFMEA, control plans & work Instructions in conjunction with contract manufacturer for all the product lines.
- Assist onsite SQE & other Peloton X-functional team overseas in tracking, documenting, and reporting “contract manufacturer’s” quality performance/KPI’s to leadership.
- Support VAVE initiatives by providing recommendations to improve manufacturing and supply chain.
- Capable of performing Gage R&R, capability studies, reading blueprints & understanding GD&T, engineering specification & interpret.
- Knowledge of quality systems and standards like ISO9001, IATF16949, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, QOS, 8D problem solving experience.
- Buy-off criteria for the fixtures and gauges from contract manufacturer.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Focus on prevention & strong attention to detail.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Basic knowledge of operating measurement equipment (CMM preferred).
- Capacity to work independently from general supervision & overtime as necessary. (must be self-motivated once given direction/guidance).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, CQE (certified quality engineer), or CQA (certified quality auditor).
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering or related field.
- Understanding of agile/scrum methodology and how QA functions within it.
- Ability to communicate in more than one language.
