Banking Network Specialist

What you’ll do

1. Network Rules & Configuration Management

  • Support the maintenance of business rules, routing logic, and configuration requirements across the payment network, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and traceable
  • Track changes in regulatory, partner bank, and PSP requirements, and assess their impact on existing network rules and configurations
  • Work with product and engineering teams to translate network requirements into system configurations or process changes

2. Transaction Performance Tracking & Issue Resolution

  • Track network and channel performance, including success rate, failure reasons, settlement time, and abnormal trends
  • Analyze transaction data to identify issues, risks, and optimization opportunities
  • Follow up on abnormal transactions, payment failures, and channel feedback, and coordinate issue resolution

3. Partner Communication & Service Management

  • Support daily communication and follow-up with PSPs, partner banks, and clearing networks
  • Track partner service performance, SLA, open items, and action plans

4. Risk, Compliance & Regulatory Support

  • Support the handling of compliance cases and banking-network-related risk matters
  • Support material preparation and follow-up for regulatory inspections, audits, or compliance remediation
  • Help assess the impact of SAFE / PBOC requirements on channel operating rules, business processes, and transaction document standards

Who you are

  • 3–5 years of experience in cross-border payments, third-party payments, bank clearing, or financial institutions; experience in payment networks, banking channels, PSP cooperation, or transaction processing is preferred
  • Familiar with China cross-border payment business and the basic regulatory framework, including SAFE / PBOC requirements
  • Good data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, trends, and optimization opportunities from data
  • Detail-oriented with strong cross-functional collaboration skills; able to work effectively with product, engineering, compliance, operations, and external partners; fluent in Chinese and English

Nice to Have

  • Experience at a licensed payment institution, bank, or cross-border payment company
  • Experience supporting regulatory inspections, audits, or compliance remediation
  • Familiarity with CUP、NUCC or cross-border payment clearing networks
