Role summary:
Card Product is looking for a Team Leader, who has an extensive and deep knowledge about transaction processing, authentication, authorization world, card processing, knows and understands 3DS and Digital Wallets, sponser banks and has a proven managerial experience.

What you’ll do:
The Team Leader will be managing international team of processing experts working closely with our Card Processing vendors, MasterCard and VISA, creating new products, defining development requirements, and managing key projects from discovery to execution.
Working closely with various internal Payoneer Departments:
- CSM, Product, R&D Teams for new product implementations, process improvements and scheme mandates.
- Risk team (Chargeback) to apply new technology and fraud parameters to make the card more secure.
- Account Management and Business Teams: help with onboarding new clients and find creative ways to fulfill the business requirements.
- Customer Journey and CSM: investigate complicated transaction cases coming from the customers to understand the issues and trends.
- Finance- Reconciliation team.
Who you are:
- Minimum 5 years of proven managerial experience in cross-functional, matrixed environments.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with card processing and/or payment issuing organizations.
- Deep expertise in transaction processing flows, including 3DS, digital wallets, vendor onboarding and implementations; strong understanding of prepaid, debit, and credit card rails.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage external partners and vendors (processors, sponsor banks), define development requirements, and lead end-to-end delivery including QA, UAT, SLAs, and production readiness.
- Solid project management capabilities with experience leading multi-team initiatives across product, R&D, operations, and compliance.
- High proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Relevant academic background (Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent).
Advantages
- Hands-on experience with card network regulations and services (e.g., STIP, M4M, QMR reports, Visa Member Letters, Mastercard Bulletins).
- Experience with card technologies including EMV and contactless payments.
- Exposure to international payment methods (e.g., WeChat Pay, Alipay).
- Familiarity with European (PSD2) and U.S. payment regulations.
