Infrastructure Operation and Maintenance Engineer
Role summary-We’re looking for a passionate Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our infrastructure team. What you’ll do
- IDC Room Hardware Maintenance: Responsible for the daily inspection of hardware devices such as servers and storage in the IDC room to detect equipment abnormalities in a timely manner; undertake the work of hardware fault diagnosis and handling, including coordinating with hardware suppliers for maintenance or replacement to ensure the stable operation of hardware devices; establish and maintain hardware asset ledgers, recording information such as equipment models, purchase dates, and maintenance records.
- ELK Log System Maintenance: Responsible for the deployment, configuration and optimization of the ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) log system to ensure that the system can normally collect, store and analyze various types of log data; conduct regular inspections of the log system, monitor system performance, handle system faults, and ensure the integrity and availability of log data; assist developers in log query and analysis according to business needs to provide support for problem location and system optimization.
- Monitoring Tool Maintenance: Responsible for the deployment, configuration and maintenance of monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Prometheus, and build a comprehensive monitoring system covering key nodes such as servers, storage, network devices and application systems; configure monitoring indicators and alarm rules to ensure that system abnormalities can be detected and alarms issued in a timely manner, and follow up on alarm handling to reduce the impact of faults; analyze monitoring data to provide data support for system capacity planning and performance optimization.
- Linux System Maintenance: Responsible for the daily installation, configuration and maintenance of the Linux system, including system patch updates, user and permission management, file system management, etc.; optimize the performance of the Linux system, solve various problems that occur during system operation, and ensure the stable and efficient operation of the system; assist the development team in application deployment, environment setup and other work, and provide technical support related to the Linux system.
- Documentation and Collaboration Work: Compile and maintain relevant technical documents, including equipment maintenance manuals, system deployment documents, fault handling procedures, etc.; participate in team technical exchanges and training, and share operation and maintenance experience and technical knowledge; cooperate with other departments to complete relevant work to ensure the normal operation of business systems.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree or above in a full-time program, majoring in computer-related fields (such as Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, etc.).
- With 5+ years or more of work experience in infrastructure operation and maintenance, and those with operation and maintenance experience in large-scale IDC rooms, Internet enterprises or financial industries are preferred.
- Proficiency in the Linux operating system, including common commands, system configuration, performance optimization, security hardening, etc., and the ability to independently solve Linux system-related problems.
- Familiar with the maintenance of IDC room servers (such as Inspur, Lenovo, Dell, HP, Huawei and other brands) and storage devices (such as IBM storage, tape libraries, etc.), and have the ability to independently diagnose and handle hardware faults.
- Mastery of the ELK log system, with the ability to proficiently perform Elasticsearch cluster deployment and optimization, Logstash log collection configuration, Kibana visualization display configuration, and possess log analysis and problem location capabilities.
- Proficiency in the use of monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Prometheus, able to independently complete the deployment of monitoring systems, configuration of monitoring items and setting of alarm rules; those familiar with the Grafana visualization tool are preferred.
- Possess certain basic network knowledge, familiar with the basic configuration and fault diagnosis of network devices such as TCP/IP protocol, routing and switching, and firewalls.
- Have good problem analysis and solving abilities, able to quickly locate and handle system faults, and have strong emergency handling capabilities.
- Have a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism, and be able to bear a certain amount of work pressure.
- Have good communication and coordination skills and team cooperation spirit, and be able to effectively cooperate with other departments such as development and testing.
- Have strong learning ability and self-drive, able to keep up with the development of new technologies and new tools in a timely manner, and continuously improve their own technical level.
