Role summary

We are looking for a seasoned DevOps & SRE Architect to lead our infrastructure transformation as we migrate from on-prem datacenter to a modern cloud environment. This is a strategic and hands-on role where you’ll drive architectural decisions, design future-ready systems, and guide teams through this critical evolution.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, DevOps, SRE and product teams to understand existing systems, technical constraints, and infrastructure needs.
  • Design and Build Cloud Architecture: Create scalable, secure, and high-performing architecture, tailored to evolving business and technical needs.
  • Lead the Cloud Migration: Develop and execute a phased plan to move infrastructure and applications to the cloud.
  • Resolve Infrastructure Challenges: Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and optimize system performance, availability, and reliability.
  • Educate and Mentor Teams: Lead cloud enablement initiatives, mentor engineers and DevOps staff on cloud-native technologies, and promote modern infrastructure best practices.
  • Define and Enforce Best Practices: Establish standards for cloud governance, security, cost optimization, and operational excellence.

Who you are

  • Proven, hands-on experience with AWS (minimum of 4 years is a must). GCP experience is a strong bonus.
  • Proven, hands-on experience with designing and implementing designing a DR strategy in a cloud environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in planning and executing data center to cloud migrations.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with database technologies (SQL DB, MongoDB, PostgresDB) and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring. Infrastructure & Architecture: Strong understanding of infrastructure design, cloud networking, security, scalability, and high availability.
  • Experience with planning and deploying FinOps tools
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS (must have), GCP (bonus)

  • Languages & Frameworks: .NET (optional)
  • Databases: SQL Server (must), MongoDB (must), PostgreSQL (optional)
  • Messaging & Streaming: Kafka (must), RabbitMQ (must)
