About the Skuad Acquisition

Back in August 2024, Payoneer acquired Skuad. Skuad's expertise helps businesses in over 160 countries navigate complex challenges such as international payroll, remote onboarding, and regulatory compliance. This acquisition reinforces Payoneer's mission and solidifies Skuad's role as a trusted partner for global workforce management (WFM).

This role will be part of our WFM business unit.

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The role involves managing payroll data entry, verifying inputs and outputs, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing. You will also support audits, statutory compliance, and IT filing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of payroll practices, tax regulations, and compliance requirements, along with excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Location – Philippines
Full time - Hybrid

What you’ll do

  • Core activities include verification of payroll inputs & outputs, working with partners for reconciliation of payroll processes, review of statutory dues, support internal audits & IT filing process
  • Responsible for payroll data entry operations
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing

Who you are

  • 4+ years of experience in managing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
  • Extensive knowledge & understanding of payroll processes & practices, including tax and compliance practices
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with key internal stakeholders, all levels of employees, and management
  • Ability to work independently
  • Flexibility to work with different stakeholders in a dynamic working environment Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify risks and impacts as well as possible solutions and corrective actions
