Operations Business Partner

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Business Partner to join Payoneer Operations in Great China. This role will serve as the key liaison between China teams and global banking operations, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial services or payments, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a passion for operational excellence.

What you’ll do

  1. Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders, identify China regional needs, translate into operational strategies and scalable solutions.
  2. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across banking operations workflows, leveraging data and cross-functional insights to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
  3. Lead or support transformation projects, ensuring timely execution and measurable outcomes. collaborate with stakeholders to align the solution, define roadmaps, anticipate resource needed and provide ongoing support to push the project forward.
  4. Partner with the Knowledge & Enablement team to localize training, SOPs, and onboarding materials for China teams

Who you are

  1. 5+ years of experience in banking/ fintech operation with knowledge of payment and FX operations with proven track record in driving operational excellence and achieving results.
  2. Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across functions.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to structure frameworks and synthesize complex information.
  4. Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin; able to present clearly to global audiences.
  5. Experience in operational excellence, or operational transformation is highly desirable.
  6. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications in finance, operations, or business strategy is a plus.
