Job Title: Senior Director, Global Workplace Experience

Location: New York

Wanted: A Builder, a Strategist, and a Problem-Solver

We’re looking for a leader who can build a world-class workplace experience from the ground up; someone who knows that a great office isn’t just about desks and chairs, but about creating an environment where people do their best work. You’ll be responsible for shaping the future of our global office footprint, optimizing our real estate strategy, ensuring top-tier facilities operations, and making our workplaces safe, sustainable, and employee-focused.

This role isn’t for someone who just manages status quo. We need a strategic operator who can balance big-picture vision with hands-on execution. Someone who sees workplace experience as a business driver, not just an operational necessity. If you can influence at the highest levels, build and scale, and aren’t afraid to make bold decisions, we want you on board. You’ll be starting with a lean team, so you need to be comfortable leading from the front, getting into the details when needed, and setting a high bar for execution.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Workplace Strategy & Real Estate Leadership

  • Develop and execute a workplace experience strategy that enhances productivity, collaboration, and employee satisfaction.
  • Own the global real estate portfolio: site selection, lease negotiations, space optimization, and long-term planning.
  • Use data and market intelligence to drive smart real estate decisions; expanding where it makes sense, consolidating where necessary.
  • Balance business needs with cost efficiency, ensuring our workplace investments deliver real value.

Facilities & Workplace Operations

  • Ensure every office operates at peak efficiency: clean, functional, and aligned with our culture and values.
  • Champion sustainability, driving ESG-aligned initiatives to reduce environmental impact and enhance workplace wellness.
  • Implement modern workplace technologies to optimize space utilization, energy efficiency, and the overall employee experience.

Employee Experience & Office Design

  • Design workplaces that support the way people actually work—flexible, inclusive, and innovative.
  • Lead initiatives to modernize office layouts, integrate hybrid work models, and enhance collaboration spaces.
  • Create and enforce workplace policies that balance structure with flexibility, ensuring our spaces work for everyone.

Safety, Security & Risk Management

  • Own global safety and physical security, ensuring employees feel safe and protected at work.
  • Build and implement robust emergency preparedness, crisis response, and business continuity plans.
  • Partner with IT to integrate cybersecurity with physical security, creating a comprehensive risk management strategy.

Budgeting & Financial Oversight

  • Manage global budgets for workplace experience, real estate, and security, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Analyze financial data to drive cost savings and maximize ROI on workplace investments.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence

  • Build and lead a high-performing global team that delivers operational excellence.
  • Partner with Finance, IT, HR, and senior leadership to align workplace strategies with broader company goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executives on all things related to workplace experience, real estate, and safety.

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in global workplace management, real estate, or facilities operations.
  • Proven ability to build from scratch whether it’s a new workplace strategy, an office transformation, or a global real estate framework.
  • Deep expertise in real estate, workplace design, and facilities operations, with a sharp eye for both strategy and execution.
  • Financial acumen—you can build and manage large-scale budgets, negotiate leases, and make data-driven investment decisions.
  • Strong decision-making skills—you’re not afraid to make tough calls, and you know how to balance employee needs with business realities.
  • A bias for action—you don’t wait for someone else to set the direction; you take the lead and get things done.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Certifications in project management (PMP), sustainability (LEED), or real estate (CCIM, MCR).
  • Experience leading workplace transformation in a high-growth, fast-paced company.
  • Multilingual skills to support a global workforce.

Why You Should Join Us:

This is your chance to build something truly impactful—transforming our workplace experience on a global scale. If you’re ready to drive change, push boundaries, and create workplaces that people love coming to, we want to hear from you.

What we offer:

  • 401K with employer match
  • Fitness/Wellness reimbursement
  • Generous PTO, paid holidays, and parental leave
