Position Overview: Job Purpose

At Oversight, we believe the future of enterprise finance will be shaped by organizations that do more than build exceptional technology. They define categories, influence how markets think, and earn trust long before buyers begin evaluating solutions.

As Director of Corporate Marketing, you will help make Oversight the most trusted and influential voice in Finance Risk Intelligence by building the strategies and programs that ensure finance leaders discover, trust, remember, and ultimately choose us.

This is a strategic market leadership role operating at the intersection of corporate marketing, category strategy, executive thought leadership, content strategy, analyst engagement, public relations, brand stewardship, and AI-era discoverability. Your mission is to strengthen Oversight’s market presence by increasing our findability, credibility, influence, and memorability across every market-facing channel, ensuring our voice shapes industry conversations and reinforces our leadership in the emerging Finance Risk Intelligence category.

Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will partner closely with Product Marketing, Enterprise Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Customer Success, Executive Leadership, and external agency partners to build lasting market preference and establish Oversight as the defining voice in Finance Risk Intelligence.

Oversight is defining the future of Finance Risk Intelligence and AI-powered financial oversight. As Director of Corporate Marketing, you will help shape how the market understands these transformations, ensuring Oversight is not simply participating in the conversation but leading it. Your work will influence how buyers discover us, how analysts describe us, how executives engage with us, and ultimately how the market defines the category itself.

Responsibilities and Expectations

Corporate Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and execute Oversight’s corporate marketing strategy to strengthen market awareness, credibility, and preference.
  • Shape the evolution of our corporate narrative, messaging architecture, and category positioning, ensuring every communication reinforces a differentiated and consistent market story.
  • Develop programs that increase Oversight’s discoverability, strengthen our market presence, and reinforce our position as the leader in Finance Risk Intelligence.

Executive Thought Leadership

  • Lead thought leadership strategy for the CEO, CMO, and executive leadership team.
  • Develop original points of view, keynote narratives, bylines, research initiatives, executive communications, and industry commentary that elevate Oversight’s voice and influence.
  • Partner with executives to build authentic and credible leadership platforms across digital and industry channels.

Content Strategy & Editorial Leadership

  • Own Oversight’s editorial strategy.
  • Develop integrated content programs that educate the market, create demand, support the revenue organization, and reinforce category leadership.
  • Build scalable, AI-enabled content operations that maximize the value of every strategic asset through intelligent repurposing across formats and channels.

Analyst & Industry Influence

  • Develop strategic engagement programs with Gartner, IDC, Everest Group, Forrester, ISG, and other influential industry organizations.
  • Partner with external communications agencies to execute proactive analyst and media strategies that strengthen Oversight’s market presence and category leadership.
  • Support industry awards, speaking opportunities, research initiatives, and executive visibility.

Brand Stewardship

  • Serve as steward of the Oversight brand across every customer and market interaction.
  • Ensure consistency across messaging, storytelling, visual identity, executive communications, and customer experiences while continually evolving the brand as the leader in Finance Risk Intelligence.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitive narratives, analyst research, buyer behavior, emerging AI technologies, and industry trends.
  • Translate market insights into strategic recommendations that strengthen Oversight’s market position and influence executive decision making.

Success Metrics

Within your first 12 months, you will have:

  • Increased Oversight’s findability and presence across owned, earned, partner, analyst, and AI-mediated channels.
  • Strengthened Oversight’s position as the leading voice in Finance Risk Intelligence.
  • Established a scalable executive thought leadership program.
  • Built an editorial strategy that supports marketing, sales, customer success, analysts, partners, and executive leadership.
  • Increased analyst engagement and improved market perception.

Additional Qualifications

  • 8-12+ years of experience in B2B enterprise technology or AI marketing.
  • Experience leading Corporate Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Brand, Content Marketing, Market Development, or Strategic Communications within a high-growth technology company.
  • Demonstrated success building executive thought leadership programs and shaping market narratives.
  • Experience working with industry analysts, media, influencers, and executive stakeholders.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Experience developing integrated content strategies across digital, executive, social, and industry channels.
  • Strong understanding of AI’s impact on search, content discovery, and buyer behavior.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business strategy into market influence.
