Job Description:

Open English is looking to add an Bilingual Accounting Manager to its team, who must be a responsible and reliable professional to analytically manage financial activities and provide guidance to management. The position involves managing, coordinating and controlling various economic-financial activities, such as billing, collections, audits and more, ensuring compliance with established regulations, both nationally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

• + 10 years of experience
• Experience reporting to USA
• Experience handling USA accounting and taxes
• Prepare and review accounting entries, balance sheets, income statements and other financial reports.
• Oversee monthly financial closings on time.
• Coordinate payments, including payroll, suppliers and government entities.
• Perform financial analysis both nationally and internationally.
• Collaborate with accounting teams in different regions to maintain alignment and effective communication.
• Ensure proper reconciliation of financial balances and compliance with tax obligations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, cash flow projections, and variance analysis.
• Participate in special projects and improve accounting processes in a rapidly evolving technological environment.
• Provide reports to senior management, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to internal controls.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience
• Experience reporting to USA
• Experience handling USA accounting and taxes
• Familiarity with ASC 842 / IFRS 1.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems. Netsuit
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with graduate studies in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience in multinational companies.
• Knowledge of national and international financial, accounting, and tax laws and regulations.
• Competence in Financial Planning, Treasury and Accounting, Fund Management, Cash Flow, Tax Management, Budget Control/Reporting, and Finance.
• Previous experience in team leadership.
• Proficiency in English, excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
