Regional Tax & Controller Coordinator

The Regional Controller & Tax Coordinator role is related to some countries in LATAM and Turkey operations, including general supervision of the recorded financial and tax activities, Tax and local compliance, and payment execution. Secondly, it supervises cash reporting (daily position, cash forecast), and the booked activity. Also, supervises consolidated company accruals and journal entries across Latam Countries, prepaid amortization booking, and cost allocations. The role requires direct communication & and reporting with the Latam Senior Controller and sometimes indirect communication with the corporate Finance team, as well as direct contact with internal administrative teams (Human resources, IT, Administration, and Sales among other key departments), and manage outsourced accounting (B.P.O), tax and auditing firms, and other service providers for the countries assigned.


  • Supervision of local accounting records generation produced by outsourced accounting firms in some LATAM countries and Turkey.
  • Supervision of parallel accounting records generation produced by the in-house team for LATAM countries and Turkey.
  • Supervision of social security and Tax & Transfer Pricing compliance for LATAM countries and Turkey.
  • Supervision of payment execution produced by outsourced firms and in-house teams for LATAM countries and Turkey.
  • Review/approval and preparation of some balance sheet account reconciliations in addition to the whole team by each country.
  • Supervision of payroll recalculation and verification for LATAM countries and Turkey.
  • Supervision of payment execution in LATAM countries and Turkey.
  • Supervision of VAT calculation, Income Tax, Withholding Tax, Local Taxes reconciliation, filing, and payment, related to the company’s taxes. - Produce VAT accruals where apply related to the company’s sales; plus identification of possible fiscal planning in the countries with the Outsourced and local teams.
  • Review of daily cash balance reports.
  • Review of weekly cash forecast/flow reports.
  • Produce monthly payment processor transaction fees trending report.
  • Supervise activity of several payment processor platforms (PayU, Ebanx, Iyzico) related to the company’s sales.
  • Supervise software licenses and telecommunications accruals booking.
  • Supervise contractors, software licenses, and various vendor prepaid amortizations.
  • Supervise cost allocation of overall billed services for certain LATAM countries
  • Supervise overall COGS allocation (per department and location)
  • Supervise invoice allocation for several types of service providers.
  • Provide quarterly and annual support for any audit requests generated by local and corporate audit processes, including preparation and review of supporting schedules.


  • Experience and knowledge in IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
  • Experience with US GAAP preferred (United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • CPA Preferred or Bachelor's degree in Finance-related career
  • Experience with managing external vendors
  • Consultant or Tax & Accounting experience in Big Four Preferred
  • Experience working with B.P.O preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft EXCEL skills
  • High Intermediate/Advanced English fluency (reading/writing/speaking)
  • Experience with financial reporting systems
