We are looking for a Manual Software Quality Engineer who will drive and improve the quality assurance function within OneTrust. The Manual QA Engineer will be responsible diving into the details to identify failure points using various data models and influencing automation.
Your Mission
As a Manual Test Engineer – P2, you will:- Collaborate with product, development, and QE teams to understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Design, write, and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data for functional and non-functional testing.
- Execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and API-based applications across different environments.
- Perform various types of testing, including:

- Functional testing
- Integration testing
- Regression testing
- Smoke and sanity testing
- Exploratory testing
- User acceptance testing (UAT) support
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools, ensuring clear reproduction steps and thorough documentation.
- Validate bug fixes and verify that issues are resolved without introducing regressions.
- Analyse test results and provide clear feedback on product quality, risks, and release readiness.
- Work closely with automation engineers by identifying test scenarios suitable for automation.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.
- Participate actively in sprint ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes, standards, and best practices.
- Support release activities by executing regression suites at various checkpoints in the release cycle.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during production issues or critical deployments when needed.
You Are

- Passionate about delivering reliable, high-quality software.
Your Experience Includes
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical or business field.
- 2- 4 years of experienceworking as a Manual Test Engineer or Quality Engineer.
- Strong experience in manual testing of web applications.
- Hands-on experience creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience using defect tracking and test management tools such asJIRA, Qmetry, Azure, or other similar tools.
- Basic understanding of databases and ability to write simple SQL queries for data validation.
- Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or similar (manual execution).
- Exposure to cross-browser testing tools and mobile testing on real devices and emulators/simulators.
- Experience supporting regression cycles and release validations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
