The Challenge
We’re looking for a Principal Software Engineer with a passion for solving problems to join our agile Product Engineering team at OneTrust. Principal Software Engineers are responsible for developing, contributing to decisions related to design and architecture of the mobile SDKs, Apps, hybrid mobile apps, including react native, flutter, Cordova while supporting existing development efforts for our industry-leading platform.Your Mission
Development- Support design and development of SDKs for product modules like Apple/Android and cross-platforms along with covering Unit tests.
- Write high-quality, production-ready code and conduct design/code reviews
- Own SDK CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and dependency management
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues across diverse mobile environments
- Optimize SDKs for low latency, memory usage, and battery efficiency.
- Hands-on experience with at least one cross-platform framework (React Native, Flutter, Unity, Xamarin, etc.) is a plus.
- Work closely with UX, Product Managers and/or Product Owners, as well as other developers to contribute to planning and grooming sessions and drive team’s discussions on system architecture andcomponentdesign
- Support the team to ensure all committed stories for the sprint are completed per the sprint goal .
- Collaborate with platform, backend, and security teams to ensure seamless integrations
- Work toward reducing total number of defects in the module/product to industry standards by catching and fixing issues early in development
- Ensure critical and high priorityCII’sare delivered per SLA
- Conduct peer reviews to improve code quality
- Help junior developers follow development testing, exploratory testing, AItestingand/or test automation
- Help build high-performing teams, grow and mentor the technical skills within the team and create development opportunities for them .
- Define SDK APIs, versioning strategies, backward compatibility, and release processes
- Ensure SDKs meet high standards for performance, security, stability, and scalability
- Drive best practices for modular design, testing, and documentation
You Are

- Bachelor's orMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical or business field
- 8+years of professional software engineering/development experience
- Experiencein leading the architecture, design, and development of mobile SDKs for Android/Apple/hybrid SDKs.
- Hands-on experience with at least one cross-platform framework (React Native, Flutter, Unity, Xamarin, etc.) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of mobile app lifecycle, threading, networking, and storage
- Strong debugging, performance profiling, and optimization skills
- Knowledge of security best practices (encryption, secure storage, privacy compliance)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, automated testing, and release pipelines
