Position Summary/Objective

The Director of Continuous Improvement will establish a vision, develop and execute a Service Delivery continuous improvement strategy. They will build and lead a team of experts to drive excellence and innovation, focusing on enhancing processes and leveraging data to derive insights that facilitate organizational change. This strategic role requires expertise in process improvement methodologies, organizational change management, and project management to optimize both employee and customer experiences. The leader will work cross-functionally with executives to identify efficiencies, lead transformative initiatives, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across Service Delivery, ensuring alignment with operational goals and delivering measurable business results.

Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities

  • Define, build, and drive a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy that aligns with organizational goals, establishing performance indicators to measure effectiveness and providing data-driven recommendations to leadership.
  • Analyze and assess the current state processes and procedures, identifying gaps and opportunities.
  • Leads and manages continuous improvement projects across departments, optimizing processes to enhance effectiveness and business impact utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
  • Builds, mentors, and develops a high-performing team of internal consultants skilled in continuous improvement methodologies, providing training and coaching to staff at all levels to promote internal capability development.
  • Designs and implements effective organizational change management strategies to facilitate adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Develops a stakeholder management strategy focused on maximizing engagement and mitigating resistance
  • Collaborates with cross-functional departments, including quality assurance, compliance, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for improvement initiatives, fostering better communication and coordinated efforts.
  • Establishes KPIs and maintains standards and governance frameworks, developing repositories of best practices and conducting regular process audits to ensure compliance with new initiatives and continuous improvement.
  • Utilizes data analytics to track key performance indicators, develop dashboards and reports, and analyze trends to inform decision-making and demonstrate the impact of improvement activities.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position leads and manages all employees of the continuous improvement team and is responsible for performance management and hiring within the department. The Leader will oversee a team of internal consultants who work across the organization to identify and implement process efficiencies.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in process improvement, operations, or related field, with proven outcomes and demonstrated success leading continuous improvement initiatives in relevant industries.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing initiatives and evaluating outcomes for proven impact.
  • Experience in a multi-site or large-scale operational environment, preferably in BPaaS, shared services, or similar service delivery environments, is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt are highly desirable. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging change management methodologies required, CCMP certification preferred.
  • Global Business experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Expertise in Lean principles (Kaizen, 5S, Standardized Work) and Six Sigma methodology (DMAIC), with proficiency in process mapping, root cause analysis, and statistical analysis.
  • Change management expertise, such as ADKAR, McKinsey 7-S, Kotter.
  • Strong project and program management skills with experience using process improvement tools in technology-driven environments.
  • Experience with platform administration, governance standards, and managing organizational transformations in multi-location environments.
  • Knowledge of organizational change management frameworks and ability to develop training programs on continuous improvement principles to build internal capabilities.
  • Relevant experience in additional business areas.
