We are looking for a Marketing Production Manager to join our Italian Marketing team.
This is a full time contract position located in Rome.
The role will oversee campaign production & project management across our marketing campaigns for films, series, and overarching initiatives. The role will require strong project management skills and production expertise, with an ability to juggle multiple projects and to navigate multiple tools & complex workflows whilst maintaining creative excellence and operational best practices for the business.
This person will join our Marketing team and will work closely with cross-functional partners across Netflix's Marketing and communications groups to connect our stories with millions of people worldwide.
This person will manage the production and delivery of all marketing campaign assets for local and international titles across our Series, Films and Unscripted slates in Italy, ensuring that all the elements that go into making a great campaign are delivered on time and on budget. We are looking for a nimble, solutions-oriented, project management expert, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You will work closely with in-house producers in our AV, Art & Print, Digital as well as external creative and production agencies, to manage Netflix’s production and operational campaign needs. You will partner closely with marketing managers working across the Italian team, to ensure creative and operational excellence and solutions led project management approach to all the campaigns you are assigned to.
You will serve as the connection point to cross-functional stakeholders, facilitating alignment between global and local teams dedicated to creative, localisation, strategy, media, marketing, events, publicity and social.
The ideal candidate will be a creative production manager with a strong background in Media Production and a solid production local expertise with executional excellence and a drive for innovation and outstanding creativity.
Key Responsibilities
Effectively managing the production of multiple campaign launches to ensure timely and accurate development, production and delivery of creative assets and consumer activations in the market both for Local and International titles and initiatives
Being a thought partner with marketing managers on the creative development of local campaigns. Partner with them to provide production guidance, best practice advice, and innovative solutions for the creation and execution of campaign assets, stunts, and activations linked to the promotion of our titles
End-to-end production management for marketing shoots (esp. AV), activations and asset creation for bespoke title campaigns
Managing agency and vendor relationships by leading day-to-day production communications, project scope of work, production budgets and timelines
Define, negotiate, communicate, implement and monitor technical quality standards and brand & creative integrity on all project deliverables according to Netflix guidelines
Driving and enabling production excellence and innovation across channels like Social, Digital, OOH and Experiential
Project managing the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns, including online and offline video, out of home, print, digital display, TV, cinema, radio and paid social
Support our Italian marketing team by planning overall campaign production timelines, budget management, project deliverables and campaign resources. Partner with Events, Photo and AV Studio to deliver best in class events, activations and assets creation. Ensure a regular flow of information between all cross-functional partners in Italy, EMEA and Globally. Regularly share updates on project timelines and budgets and escalate any anticipated production issues
Operational Strategist & Project Management. Proactively identify business-critical issues and opportunities to improve how we track, produce, share, utilize, and traffic promotional assets at Netflix, balancing the short and long-term needs of multiple cross-functional Marketing and Communications teams. Elevate our project management functions to enable flexible processes and structure, while also driving accountability for process and workflows improvement
Nurture and maintain a network of best-in market vendors (production companies, freelancers)
Experience & Skills
8 or more years of marketing creative production & project management crafting world class campaigns and executions. Experience within the entertainment industry and International experience are a plus
Knowledgeable of the evolving Italian and Global advertising and media landscape, including exposure to/experience with digital marketing and media
Passion for storytelling and high competency and proven track record of project management for high profile local and global campaigns
Expert knowledge of marketing campaign and localisation workflows, including understanding the creative and production process for AV, Print & Digital deliverables
Fluent in AV, Print & Digital types and formats, whilst understanding the fundamentals of asset management, servicing and ad trafficking
Great agility to oversee a wide range of production types (shoots, on set and digital activations, media assets, stunts) and a high volume of creative and campaign types in parallel
Exceptionally strong communication and analytical skills along with the ability to think strategically and creatively
Proactive, fast, and flexible problem-solver with superb time, resource, and stakeholder management
A strong appetite for innovation, an open and solution-oriented mindset
An entertainment fan who understands the power of entertainment to transform behaviors and influence pop culture
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment, possessing a high level of intellectual curiosity, and demonstrate strong and effective judgment in the face of ambiguity
Fluency in Italian and English is required; please submit your CV in English
At Netflix, we’re committed to paying our employees equitably and increasing our pay transparency. Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider objective and gender-neutral criteria (e.g. your specific job family, background, skills, and experience). The range for this role is typically €85,000 - €135,000.
