About the Role

The Senior Manager, Netflix Technology Experience (APAC) leads a Manila-based regional presence that is integral to our global NTech organization. Reporting to the Director of NTech, APAC , this leader oversees the regional Remote Corp Support, Remote Studio Support, and Identity and Access Management (IAM) teams. Working in close partnership with global peers, the Senior Manager helps define the strategy centered on service excellence and user experience. They will guide their teams through a fast-paced and consistently evolving environment, leveraging data and insights to prioritize high-impact outcomes for Netflix.

A key focus for this role will be to understand, anticipate, and harness the transformative potential of AI and automation, ensuring that our teams are equipped to leverage emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of IT professionals across the Remote Enterprise, Remote Studio and Identity Access Management domains, focused on maintaining an industry leading user experience and a culture of Service Excellence

  • Build and coach a team of managers, providing the context and mentorship for them to lead high-skill, high-autonomy teams and develop a leadership bench

  • Ensure operational excellence and leverage data to inform key business decisions and strategic requirements

  • Provide inclusive leadership to the team, promoting organizational health and psychological safety

  • Establish strong collaboration and partnership with cross-region peers key stakeholders across Ntech to help drive a global strategy

  • Manage and forecast annual needs across budget, workforce, and portfolio for a stabilizing and scaling organization

  • Develop and maintain cross functional partnerships ensuring candid feedback and alignment on projects and initiatives

  • Set team goals and success metrics that prioritize Service Excellence and align with the broader NTE and NTech objectives

  • Act as a primary advocate for the customers supported by this team, ensuring their needs and nuances are reflected in global priorities and investments.

  • Champion adoption and integration of AI, automation, and observability tooling to enhance team performance, drive scalability, and elevate the overall technology experience

  • Flexible working in a hybrid capacity with occasional travel across the region

Skills & Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in IT Operations or Technology Management, with at least 8+ years in a leadership role managing other managers in a large-scale, global environment (Production/Post-Production experience a plus)

  • Proven track record building and maintaining a healthy diverse and inclusive organization

  • Strong technical background with a balance of strategic and operational mindset

  • Experience in making informed and agile decisions at the global/regional/country level with high-velocity execution

  • Expertise in utilizing metrics and data to analyze and assess business priorities, drive decision making and measure success toward organizational goals

  • Knowledge of forecasting and budgetary management within an IT organization

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud applications, and Identity and Access Management (IAM)

  • Familiarity with internally built platforms and complex support workflows rather than traditional, script-based models

  • Knowledge of Security best practices and leading through change in a safe and compliant manner

  • Demonstrated curiosity and experience in AI, automation, and emerging technologies, with the ability to drive adoption to future-proof the organization

  • Ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders and across large teams of individual contributors

  • Must be amenable to a hybrid work arrangement in Makati

  • Understands, advocates, and embodies the Netflix culture and company values
