Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of entertainment? As a key member of the APAC Partner Engagement team, you'll dive deep into Netflix's partner product requirements and policies, leading strategic technology roadmap discussions, product integrations, and business enablement with regional partners.

What You'll Do:

Lead the Charge: Manage our payment and device integrations with Japan partners to drive member acquisitions and to ensure the best member experience are enabled on our partner platforms within set timeframes.

Collaborate and Innovate: Lead end-to-end project implementations, both internally and externally, to ensure seamless technical integration, swift resolution of challenges, establish strong partnerships and drive co-innovations.

Create Business Impact: Implement partner bundle offers that include Netflix subscriptions, making it easy for members to pay through their partner's bill.

Secure best-in-class Netflix Experience: Negotiate, implement, and iterate highly visible Netflix discovery placements and seamless user purchase experiences within our partners' devices and digital canvases, making Netflix the go-to choice for entertainment and driving business performance to new heights.

Execute with Precision: Drive technology execution, including API integrations, through collaboration with our engineering and product teams.

Fuel Growth: Contribute to the APAC partnerships growth strategy by testing, learning, and evolving our product and technology execution. Utilize your understanding of the local market challenges and opportunities to spearhead cross-functional efforts, overcoming obstacles and pushing the boundaries of what's possible.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in building strategic relationships and managing projects end-to-end at leading operators or global platforms.

  • Proficient in English to communicate with internal engineering and XFN team overseas, and Japanese to communicate with local partners and Japan partnership team. Both require strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven track record of leading complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Skilled in navigating high-stakes negotiations that result in significant value creation.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, business development, legal, marketing, customer service, and finance, across global locations.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.

  • Expertise in designing and optimizing (a) user acquisition journeys through consumer insights and A/B testing and (b) user experiences specifically for Smart TV interfaces, ensuring intuitive Netflix discovery.

  • Strong technical knowledge of partner payment and device (set-top-boxes) integrations, with a keen willingness to expand expertise in these areas.

  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making, fueled by a passion for metrics.

  • This role is based in Tokyo. Willingness to travel for partner and internal team meetings as needed.
