We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.

The Role

As Netflix continues to grow and transform entertainment globally, we’re increasingly focusing on Commerce as well. We have ambitious plans, an enormous scale of the opportunity, and the passion to be the best in customer experience, which now includes offering more affordable price points for new ad-supported subscription plans.

We are seeking a selfless, curious, and passionate individual contributor to join our Ads Finance and Strategy team. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow quickly in this space, work closely with a highly cross-functional, global team, and contribute to one of the most impactful transitions we’ll have made in a decade.

We're open to this hire being based in one of these locations: New York, NY; Los Angeles, CA; Los Gatos, CA. The in-office expectation is 3x per week (Tues-Thurs).

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development of the Netflix Ads Product Platform strategy.

  • Acting as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional stakeholders, including Product and Ads leaders.

  • Opportunity sizing and driving clarity around the business impact of our product initiatives. Providing strategic guidance on the right impact frameworks and levers.

  • Modeling the financial impact of proposed new products and integrations. Working with colleagues on the Financial Planning and Analysis team to ensure that these changes are reflected in our financial forecast.

  • Preparing clear and concise presentation materials for stakeholders in small and large forums.

  • Developing metrics and reporting around product performance and revenue generation.

What we’re looking for:

  • 4+ years of experience in strategy, product management, investment banking, management consulting, business operations, or similar analytical roles.

  • We will prioritize candidates with knowledge of the streaming advertising and ad tech ecosystem.

  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders and successfully drive cross-functional alignment.

  • Strong data modeling skills. Proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.) with the ability to clearly communicate key findings to senior stakeholders. Working knowledge of SQL and Tableau is a plus.

  • Extraordinary attention to detail and an eye toward using the 80/20 rule to address problems.

  • Very strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to deliver work under tight timelines.

  • Ability to communicate complex concepts with varying degrees of detail depending on the forum. You know your audience and what they’re looking for.

  • Good understanding of the product development process is a plus, though not required.
