Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

The Role

As our business grows, we’re bringing the ads plan to even more members around the world. Starting in 2027, Netflix’s ads plan will expand to several new countries in Southeast Asia, giving members more plan options and advertisers more opportunities to reach our audience. We are looking for team members who will be instrumental in shaping this quickly evolving business area for Netflix, including a Senior Manager, Advertising Sales in Singapore to lead our sales strategy for Netflix in Southeast Asia (Thailand, Philippines & Indonesia).

The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience opening and managing new markets, and is comfortable with the challenge of building a new business, operating with risk, uncertainty and ambiguity. You will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the advertising sales strategy for the SEA market. You will be accountable for delivering revenue targets by leveraging Netflix's unique audience insights and premium content offerings. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem across SEA, an established network of relationships, and a track record of delivering revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Entry & Expansion: Lead the launch, growth, and ongoing management of new markets in Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Philippines, and Indonesia. Define the go‑to‑market approach, build the initial pipeline, and establish scalable sales processes.

  • People Management: Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the advertising sales team across SEA

  • Client and Agency Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with Agency Holding groups, related Agencies and clients directly to secure ad partnerships to drive revenue growth.

  • Programmatic Partnerships: Partner with programmatic partners to scale our programmatic offering in the market

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Ad Product, Marketing, Content, Measurement and Partnership Development teams to ensure the successful delivery of advertising campaigns.

  • Revenue Target Achievement: Leverage Netflix's unique audience insights and premium content offerings to deliver revenue targets and exceed client expectations.

  • Market Monitoring and Innovation: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify opportunities for innovation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in advertising (including sales) with a proven track record of delivering revenue growth.

  • Proven experience opening and scaling new markets or regions in digital advertising, with clear examples of building a book of business from an early stage

  • Demonstrated ability to build a market from 0 → 1, including defining GTM strategy, securing early flagship clients, and transitioning to a scalable, repeatable sales motion.

  • Strong people management and leadership experience leading a high-performing team.

  • Experience in TV, CTV, digital advertising sales, and programmatic is strongly preferred.

  • Established network and extensive experience working with Agencies and Clients across SEA

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
