The Netflix Advertising team is charged with building a new, best in class ads organization to establish Netflix as the premiere platform for advertiser partners and to drive advertising revenue. The APAC Sales Operations team’s purpose is to accelerate sustained business growth by building and enabling the people, systems, tools, and processes to execute a rapidly scaling ads business.

This role sits within the APAC Market Planning and Operations (MP&O) organization, and reports to the Senior Manager, Sales Operations.

In this role, you will:

Planning & Strategy
Act as a thought partner to Country Sales Leader and Sales Managers and help them identify and refine business priorities.
Support key planning processes such as customer segmentation, annual budgeting, forecasting, portfolio management, territory management, and sales plan design.
Facilitate, guide, enable the rollout of new sales programs and processes, in Japan or across APAC, with sales teams aimed at driving better sales outcomes and efficiency.


Stakeholder Management
Act as a thought partner to Country Sales Leaders and cross-functional partners.
Drive change management on new processes and initiatives by understanding. end-user needs, handling objections, troubleshooting, and driving improvements.
Collaborate with the sales team and cross-functional teams to understand their strategy and help develop plans for execution.


Drive Revenue Acceleration Initiatives
Partner with Sales, Account Management, and cross-functional partners to deliver projects that will drive revenue in the market and across APAC.
Proactively surface new business opportunities and insights that unlock revenue opportunities.
Maintain end-to-end ownership of critical country and regional projects.
Build business cases for initiatives such as launching new buying mechanisms, partnerships, and process changes.


Analytics and Insights
Provide actionable insights based on quantitative and qualitative analysis of sales performance and follow through for execution with sales and cross-functional teams.
Define, build & maintain the sales inputs, forecasts, and sales pipeline for the Japan advertising business.
Lead discussions on business performance & state of the business with expertise and full ownership.
Conduct country and regional pipeline and business reviews on a regular basis.


About you:

  • 10+ years of experience in advertising/ advertising-related fields and experience working in Sales Operations.

  • Proven understanding of the digital advertising landscape and knowledge of the agency and advertiser ecosystem in Japan. Familiarity with agency and client-direct sales models and different methods of buying.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with Country Sales Leaders, Sales Managers, Account Management Team Leaders and with Cross-Functional Partners.

  • Hands-on analytical ability including the ability to independently retrieve, analyze, visualize data to deliver actionable insights to sales management. Advanced spreadsheet skills are mandatory and working knowledge of SQL is preferred.

  • Self-starter with the ability to independently manage and lead projects to drive ads revenue in Japan and also drive projects in the APAC region as needed.

  • Ability to understand both detailed aspects and the “bigger picture” of Sales Operations.

  • Bias for action with the ability to drive and influence decision-making even if you don’t own reporting lines.

  • Strong collaborator who embraces differing perspectives and experiences to make better decisions.

  • Demonstrated track record of creativity, innovation, and implementing improved approaches.

  • Proven ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects efficiently.
