About the Candidate:

We are seeking an individual to join our Awards Marketing Team as a Creative Content Manager, specializing in producing best in class creative content on high-profile awards film and series titles, such as the Oscar-winning Frankenstein and the Emmy-winning Adolescence. The ideal candidate is a passionate creative producer, thrives in a fast paced environment, is highly collaborative, and exceptionally organized. The role requires a high level of creativity, an inquisitive and innovative personality, and a strong project management background.

This ideal candidate will be a seasoned video and photo shoot producer, with a background in awards campaigns. We value candidates who are action-oriented, curious, hands-on and enthusiastic about contributing wherever needed. Candidates should have a strong project management background and excel at strategically planning and executing multiple projects simultaneously. They are highly organized, creative, and communicate succinctly. As a collaborative team player, they thrive in fast-paced environments and work effectively across multiple teams. Self-motivated and possessing high integrity, this candidate uses sound judgment to make wise decisions, thinks strategically, and inspires colleagues to do the same.

This role will work cross-functionally with the Netflix awards publicity, marketing, product, and social teams, as well as talent reps, and external creative partners and producers throughout the lifecycle of a campaign.

This job is based in Los Angeles and reports to the Senior Manager of Creative Content, Awards Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a creative content strategy for awards titles and events, to capture, produce and utilize impactful visual assets to enhance the 360 marketing campaign

  • Hire, schedule and oversee crews and creative agencies, with expertise in entertainment and awards

  • Capture and deliver video content/footage to be used for the awards campaign

  • Clearly communicate with launch campaign publicist, marketing/social teams, production teams and talent reps as well as the awards marketing and strategy team

  • Produce behind the scenes featurettes with Netflix talent to highlight the craft of the films / series title

  • Manage and oversee clip pulling for awards ceremonies and submissions

  • Assist with the asset management and servicing of AV material

  • Produce awards content day video shoots

  • Oversee Photo and AV needs for premieres and events

  • Manage budgets, open internal POs and negotiate rates with third-party vendors.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience at a network, studio, or editorial outlet with a strong focus on awards creative content capture and strategy

  • Strong roster of entertainment, and editorial videographers and creative agencies

  • Strategic thought-partner and strong team player

  • Deadline-oriented, agile in event settings with strong time management skills

  • Strong eye for producing impactful creative assets

  • Ability to handle high volume of complex projects and tasks for multiple people and departments simultaneously and manage competing priorities with tight timelines

  • Must be able to work independently, highly decisive, strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Must possess solid organizational, effective time management and excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with internal and external teams

  • Strong knowledge in digital file specs, size formats and delivery workflows for entertainment and awards

  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Suite including Premiere Pro is preferred

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $210,000.00 - $339,000.00.
