ProdMerch is a new team that connects members to Netflix’s world of entertainment by blending intuitive merchandising with local expertise to position, promote, and present content—making it easy and enjoyable for members to discover what they’ll love.

The Product Merchandising team is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support the New Content Experience (NCX) team. A successful Administrative Assistant is self-motivated, proactive, and a strong communicator who is flexible and able to make sound judgment calls in order to move quickly. This role requires a strong emphasis on organization, unwavering attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to problem-solve. Because this is a fast-paced, high-volume environment, you must be comfortable managing shifting priorities, staying organized under pressure, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Individuals who learn quickly and inherently exercise good judgment tend to be most successful both in this role and at Netflix.

The ideal Administrative Assistant excels at day-to-day core responsibilities while also thinking strategically about the needs of each leader, the team, and the impact of our work across the broader global organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain complex calendars for multiple directors, proactively managing priorities, conflicts, and time zones.

  • Stand up new org structures, including creating team rosters, communication channels, onboarding documentation, and recurring operating cadences (staff meetings, all‑hands, business reviews).

  • Partner with HR, Recruiting, Finance, and Facilities to operationalize org changes (new teams, reorgs, headcount changes), ensuring systems, workflows, and communication channels are properly set up.

  • Manage a large volume of internal meetings (all‑team, cross‑functional, and global), including scheduling, soliciting agenda items, time management, and delegation and tracking of action items.

  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements and process corresponding expense reports.

  • Plan and execute team events, offsites, and external meetings, including venue/vendor sourcing, logistics, agenda coordination, and presentation support.

  • Assist with team projects and events as needed, providing coordination and follow‑through.

  • Support team‑building and team coordination through thoughtful communication and event support.

  • Maintain distribution lists, Google Groups, Slack channels, and similar tools for the team, serving as point of contact for general team communications.

  • Communicate frequently and effectively with a wide range of cross‑discipline internal partners.

Qualifications:

  • Senior experience as an administrative or executive assistant supporting multiple leaders with large, global teams across multiple time zones and cultures

  • Extensive experience within a technology or a rapidly scaling company

  • Strong executive written and verbal communication skills

  • Event planning experience is preferred - Creating and managing team events to promote business and interpersonal networking needs. Responsibilities can include sourcing, coordination and management for all aspects of the venues/hotel, coordinating pre-planning, agendas, presentations, and AV needs

  • Proficiency in Google Suite is required

  • A high degree of familiarity with Slack is preferred

  • Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information

  • Responsive and able to work flexibly across multiple time zones

  • Understanding of how to prioritize, organize, and respond accordingly

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of hourly pay; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in hourly pay versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The hourly range for this role is $38.46 - $71.39.
