Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

Our Mobile Delivery and Release Readiness teams are making releasing games to the Netflix platform seamless for internal and external game developers. From the pipelines that push games to App Stores, , through the automated quality gates that give developers and release managers confidence on every submission.

We are looking for an Engineering Manager that will lead a team of outstanding engineers to scale the delivery and release systems to match the Netflix scale. You will have a unique opportunity and responsibility to own this problem space, and drive solutions that make game developers love launching games with Netflix.

What will you do:

  • Lead, grow, and hire a team of outstanding engineers, maintaining high engineering standards and a culture of inclusion, candor, and continuous improvement.

  • Drive a quality-first engineering culture across the release lifecycle, owning the automated systems that turn game submissions into clear, actionable readiness signals for developers, QA, and release teams.

  • Foster an inclusive, high-performing environment where every member feels accepted and respected, and can do the best work of their life.

  • Understand the problem space, and drive innovation to make Netflix the best platform to launch games.

  • Form trusting cross-functional partnerships across Games Engineering, and with Game Studios, to ensure alignment on meeting our goals.

  • Contribute towards the broader Games strategy and goals.

  • Navigate ambiguity confidently: this space is complex and evolving rapidly, and you will help define what the team owns and how it operates.

  • Be a strong culture role model, leading by example in alignment with our principles of Inclusion, Freedom & Responsibility, Informed Captaincy and Context Not Control.

What are we looking for:

  • Experience leading software engineering teams, including experience managing teams responsible for infrastructure (for example CI/CD systems, SaaS platforms, QA infrastructure)

  • Familiarity with mobile app delivery ecosystems - understanding the constraints, policies, and processes of publishing to App Store and Google Play is a plus.

  • Curiosity about applying AI tooling to developer productivity and quality infrastructure when our partners shift into AI-first development.

  • A product-oriented engineering mindset — you think about the humans using the tools your teams build, not just the systems behind them.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain high-performing, psychologically safe teams. You give and receive candid feedback well, and you know how to develop engineers across a range of experience levels.

  • Comfort operating in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment - you can align across teams, manage competing priorities, and make good decisions without full information.

  • Strong communication skills across timezones and disciplines. You can speak credibly to engineers, product partners, and senior leadership alike.

  • Curiosity about the games industry and what it takes to build tools that empower game developers and cross-functional partners at scale.

Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates. If you want an accommodation/adjustment for a disability or any other reason during the hiring process, please send a request to your recruiting partner.

We are an equal-opportunity employer and celebrate diversity, recognizing that diversity builds stronger teams. We approach diversity and inclusion seriously and thoughtfully. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, ancestry, national origin, caste, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, age, disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic makeup, marital status, or military service.
