To deliver on this vision, we need leaders who can operate beyond conventional structures. To that end, we’re seeking a Benefits Strategy & Operations Manager to support our growing business in APAC.
This is a highly visible role, reporting to the APAC Director of Compensation & Employee Programs, and will be instrumental in defining and executing a scalable, data-driven, and governance-led benefits strategy across the region. This role ensures alignment with global philosophy while adapting to local regulatory, market, and workforce realities across diverse APAC markets.
The position balances strategic design, operational excellence, risk governance, and analytics-driven insights to support sustainable workforce outcomes and disciplined cost management.
Key Responsibilities:
Programs Strategy
Develop and articulate the APAC benefits strategy aligned to our philosophy and company growth objectives
Lead design of insured and self-insured programs, including but not limited to medical, life, disability, retirement, and time away programs
Ensure competitiveness through benchmarking and market intelligence.
Drive and oversee benefits funding, renewals, and vendor management.
Drive disciplined cost management while balancing employee value proposition.
Ensure compliance with multi-country legislative and tax requirements.
Strengthen governance standards.
Build a credible regional benefits data infrastructure.
Deliver insights on utilisation, claims trends, cost drivers, and workforce behaviour.
Operations Strategy
Define and evolve the strategic operating models for benefits delivery across the organization that reduce duplication and ambiguity
Serve as a strategic partner to HR Services leadership.
Lead operational and implementation strategy for large-scale or high-complexity benefits initiatives (e.g., harmonizations, funding model changes, vendor transitions, new program rollouts).
Define operations scorecard
What we are looking for:
15+ years of relevant compensation experience in benefits design and benefits operations model design.
Experience partnering with shared services or HR service delivery organizations.
Exposure to multi-country compliance and governance environments.
Deep understanding of end-to-end benefits lifecycle operations.
Strong process design and risk control capability.
Experience with HRIS platforms, benefits administration systems, and data integrations.
Knowledge of vendor governance and performance management structures.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience navigating ambiguity and adapting to evolving business needs.
