The Executive Assistant (EA) to the VP of Marketing France & India is a trusted partner who enables the Executive to operate at maximum impact. The EA ensures clarity of priorities, operational excellence, and strong communication across the Marketing organization and broader France teams. The role combines advanced calendar and priority management, communication leadership, reliable, organised operational execution, and proactive thought partnership.

The EA is an active contributor to building a high-performing, connected, and collaborative Marketing leadership team, and serves as a positive ambassador of France Marketing within the wider Netflix organization.

Key Areas of Impact

  • Ensure smooth, timely, and accurate information flow across the Marketing organization and France teams (meeting notes, documentation, cascades, Weekly Marketing newsletter, leadership meetings, 1:1s).

  • Actively contribute to building a highly impactful and cohesive France Marketing leadership team through offsites, team moments, and ongoing connection.

  • Support and strengthen cross-functional collaboration between Marketing and other teams, while serving as a positive, trusted ambassador of France Marketing and the VP, and fostering strong, collaborative relationships with leaders across the organization.

  • Demonstrate curiosity and initiative to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Marketing team, including in leveraging AI and productivity tools

  • Support C-level and senior executive visits to the market.

  • Own and optimize selected Marketing workflows to drive operational efficiency and team effectiveness.

Core Responsibilities

1. Meeting, Offsite & Preparation Support

  • Design and facilitate effective meeting structures that balance information sharing, discussion, and strategic decision-making.

  • Prepare and coordinate materials for meetings, presentations, offsites, seminars, and team forums to ensure clarity, readiness, and impact.

  • Ensure meeting agendas are purposeful, inclusive of relevant stakeholders, and aligned with leadership priorities.

  • Capture clear notes, decisions, and action items, and ensure timely follow-up and documentation.

2. Communication & Team Alignment

  • Act as a communication bridge between the VP and teams, ensuring transparency, alignment, and trust.

  • Provide visibility to the broader team on key external meetings, milestones, and leadership priorities.

  • Proactively communicate deadlines, expectations, and critical information to relevant stakeholders.

  • Support consistent information cascades across Marketing and France teams (including newsletters and leadership updates).

  • Reinforce team cohesion by aligning teams around shared goals, priorities, and timelines.

3. Strategic Thought Partnership

  • Act as a trusted thought partner to the VP, offering perspective on priorities, sequencing, and workload balance.

  • Maintain regular touchpoints throughout the week to adjust plans, surface risks, and clarify expectations.

  • Support the VP in stepping back when needed to reassess medium - and long-term objectives.

  • Provide constructive feedback and insights based on a strong understanding of team dynamics and organizational context.

4. Calendar, Agenda & Priority Management

  • Own and manage the VP of Marketing’s calendar, ensuring time is allocated to the highest-impact priorities.

  • Proactively manage short-, mid-, and long-term priorities through regular alignment, with a structured priority-setting touchpoint every week.

  • Own and manage the agendas of the Title Marketing Leader and the Social Marketing Leader.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for the entire France Marketing organization.

  • Anticipate urgent topics and integrate them thoughtfully while protecting time for strategic work.

  • Act as a strategic gatekeeper: continuously assess, challenge, and re-prioritize requests to maintain focus and effectiveness.

5. Operational Flow, Gatekeeping & Workflow Optimization

  • Serve as the main entry point and triage center for all inbound requests to the VP.

  • Independently handle, redirect, or decline requests when appropriate, ensuring optimal use of executive time.

  • Anticipate bottlenecks, dependencies, and risks, and proactively address them.

  • Coordinate across internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operational flow.

  • Own and improve selected Marketing workflows to drive efficiency, clarity, and scalability.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes using tools, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
