  • Monitor asset and shot priorities, addressing schedule variances and collaborating on solutions.

  • Partner with Producers and Creative leadership to resolve competing priorities.

  • Ensure breakdowns align with the current brief and budget, flagging risks or variances.

  • Oversee accurate project tracking and reporting, including ad hoc reporting as required.

  • Identify review-related risks impacting scope, schedule, or budget and escalate appropriately.

  • Lead and support Production Supervisors, Coordinators, and Assistants, ensuring clarity and accountability.

  • Mentor and develop the production team, fostering growth and capability.

  • Support crew planning, overtime management, and leave coverage in collaboration with Producers and Artist Management.

  • Facilitate effective cross-department and cross-site communication.

  • Proactively identify risks, recommend solutions, and communicate updates in a timely and professional manner.

  • Maintain and develop expertise in production tools, workflows, and industry best practices.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 7+ years’ experience in production on large-scale animation or VFX projects.

  • 2+ years’ experience in a Production Manager (or equivalent senior production leadership) role.

  • Senior production experience on at least two feature animation or VFX projects.

  • Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring large teams.

  • Advanced scheduling expertise and strong knowledge of database/project tracking systems (Autodesk Flow Production Tracking experience essential).

  • Deep understanding of feature animation pipelines and workflows.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Calm, solutions-focused leadership style, with strong interpersonal awareness.

  • Ability to build trust, inspire teams, and collaborate effectively across departments.
