As a Workday Associate, you’ll be part of the team ensuring our core talent system—particularly Workday—work reliably, intuitively, and in ways that strengthen talent data quality across the company.

You’ll support day-to-day Workday operations, partner closely with Talent Tech, Service Delivery and People Analytics, and cross-functional teams to reduce friction in data processing in Workday.

Responsibilities:

System Support & Operational Excellence

  • Provide daily support for Workday HCM and talent modules, helping partners navigate issues and ensuring processes run smoothly

  • Troubleshoot system or data problems, identify root causes, and escalate when needed

  • Maintain foundational configuration (e.g., workflows, reference data, roles) to ensure consistency and accuracy across talent processes

Process & Experience Design

  • Partner with Talent Operations analysts and managers to simplify and optimize workflows, focusing on reducing friction and improving the end-to-end experience for employees, managers, and HR partners

  • Contribute to documentation, job aids, knowledge articles, and user-centric materials that help teams adopt new processes or features

  • Support process reviews to ensure Talent Operations design principles: scalability, interconnectedness, and data integrity

Configuration & Continuous Improvement

  • Assist with Workday configuration changes under the guidance of talent ops managers or TTE

  • Participate in Workday releases by testing new features, assessing impacts, and supporting rollouts

  • Contribute to enhancements that strengthen how data flows across systems and how talent data is captured, structured, and used

Data Quality & Integrated Insights

  • Build and maintain basic Workday reports that give partners visibility into operations, workflows, and data health

  • Conduct data audits and partner with Talent Analytics and TTE to uphold data governance standards that enable clean, trustworthy insights

  • Support projects and initiatives aimed at improving system interoperability and the interconnectedness of talent data across tools and processes

Qualifications:

  • Workday knowledge (HCM Core required; exposure to Recruiting, Compensation, Absence, Payroll or Talent modules is a plus)

  • Workday HCM Core certification is required; Workday HCM Reporting certification is a plus

  • Curiosity about how systems, data, and processes connect and how they can be simplified

  • A strong accuracy data mindset and attention to detail

  • Systems-thinking approach that connects day-to-day tasks to enterprise-level talent strategy
