The Netflix Finance Technology Team manages and delivers solutions for the constantly evolving needs of our Finance teams. Our team is seeking an excellent engineer to help us build applications, work in a rapid development environment, collaborate with multiple internal business stakeholders, and meet external regulatory requirements. This position will be based at the company’s Poland office and report to the Manager, Finance Technology.
We work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and our Business Partners to build solutions for their needs. These systems support our business plan, account for and manage all financial matters for our corporate needs, and operate all financial systems. Our team is a diverse mix of talented engineers who work together building applications and systems on the Netflix Paved Path.

What You Will Do
As a Software engineer, you will be
Responsible for designing, developing, and delivering (including post-launch support) scalable solutions to support our Finance teams globally.
Working closely with internal business stakeholders to understand the use cases and build end-to-end solutions.
Forging strong cross-functional relationships with business partners across various finance and engineering teams to successfully engage, understand, and solve their needs.
What you possess:
Strong track record in developing enterprise application integrations
Thorough knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and QA processes.
Proficiency in building restful APIs for internal and external products.
Experience with XML/XSLT/JSON and various document transfer formats, including EDI and ISO.
Prior or current techno-functional experience with on-premises/SaaS ERP applications will be an added advantage (Oracle / Workday/ SAP).
Working knowledge of Python / Java.
Understanding of hive/iceberg data structures.
Ability to think analytically and effectively, and apply logic to solve problems.
Skills required to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, with a focus on detail and decisiveness.
Ability to collaborate effectively with business partners, functional solution engineers, fellow engineers, and stakeholders on projects.
Clear and concise communication skills to disseminate information about your work, design, and tradeoff decisions, both in writing and verbally.
Demonstrable commitment and achievement skills to exceed expectations and serve multiple partners while delivering an outstanding experience.
