The Opportunity
As a Program Manager on the Legal Ops team, you will work closely with Legal, Product, and Engineering teams to streamline processes, optimize workflows, and implement solutions that drive efficiencies across the Legal ecosystem at Netflix.
This position is based in Los Angeles, CA or Los Gatos, CA.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a thought-partner to Legal and business stakeholders, translating complex contract lifecycle needs into scalable operational requirements.
Design and scale contract data standards and governance frameworks to enable enterprise-wide automation and GenAI innovation.
Serve as the primary steward for contract data, driving cross-functional alignment and promoting the adoption of governance practices.
Configure and scale the Contract Lifecycle Management (“CLM”) environment (fields, workflows, and reporting) to enforce data integrity and deliver self-service insights to the business.
Manage a team of vendors responsible for high-touch data remediation and contract ingestion, ensuring their output meets accuracy standards.
Lead end-to-end project implementation, including authoring strategy memos, writing requirements, defining milestones, mapping dependencies, and developing strategies to mitigate setbacks.
Actively seek out and recognize projects that share common goals or operational requirements to optimize resource allocation and maximize impact.
Qualifications
7+ years in Program Management or Contract Management, with a deep understanding of contract structures, clauses, obligations, metadata, and the end-to-end lifecycle.
Experience partnering cross-functionally to translate business pain points into technical solutions.
Skilled in end-to-end program management, vendor oversight, and influencing cross-functional without formal authority.
Experience supporting compliance, audit, or regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, records management).
Highly organized individual with extraordinary attention to detail with a proven ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects while balancing competing priorities.
Strong analytical and systems-thinking mindset.
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building scalable processes from scratch.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly and concisely convey project objectives and progress to legal professionals, engineers, and business leaders.
Experience building dashboards or reports using contract data is preferred.
Experience using CLM technology (e.g., Evisort, Ironclad) and supporting Legal, Studio, Finance, and/or Sales contracting teams is highly desirable.
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $230,000.00 - $380,000.00.
