The Role
The Industry Relations & Partnership team within Content Operations and Innovation is made up of industry relations and production technology domain experts who are responsible for executing and influencing initiatives that support our pitch to play ecosystem. We are seeking an Engagement Manager, Industry Relations & Partnerships, who is responsible for establishing a comprehensive engagement and marketing strategy across Eyeline's three operational pillars: VFX, Studios, and Labs, and leading programs that support Eyeline’s operational goals and strategies.
This role will be responsible for crafting and executing the marketing and industry engagement strategy focused on positioning our subsidiary brand Eyeline.
Key Responsibilities
Build strong Collaborative relationships with Executive, Creative, and Research, Software, and Production Leadership to articulate the vision, strategy, business rationale, and capabilities of Eyeline
Integrate into the Executive teams workflow and be part of packaging Eyeline’s creative talent and innovative technology for a range of audiences: Filmmakers, Netflix Executives, Production, Finance, Internal Supervisors and Departments, and others
Work with Senior Leadership to develop plans to amplify Eyeline’s reputation for innovation, creativity, and storytelling across all media communications and awards campaigns
Manage content clearances end-to-end: coordinate with internal cross-functional teams and external studios, navigate approval workflows, learn and adhere to each studio’s processes, and maintain rigorous records of usage rights, restrictions, and guidelines for sharing Eyeline’s work externally
Develop and execute social media strategy across priority platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram and Facebook) with focus on content planning, calendar management, campaign design and performance optimization
Partner with Netflix Communications leads to prepare senior leaders for media engagements, presentations, and interviews, providing briefing materials, messaging and logistical support as needed
Drive Eyeline’s internal storytelling with an internal Monthly newsletter compiling cross-functional updates, showcasing show announcements and completion, awards and Technology highlights and more
Develop highly creative, effective, and visible media relations and publicity campaigns, maintain regular communication with media and internal stakeholders, and work as the lead media relations liaison for Eyeline
Stay up to date on industry trends in the VFX, Virtual Production, Technology, and entertainment landscape and translate implications into clear guidance and recommend marketing pivots as needed
Lead and execute end-to-end industry engagement events—from strategy and programming to logistics, stakeholder management, and on-site operations, to ensure executions meet business goals and are operationally successful.
Act as a spokesperson for Eyeline at industry events, and help train and prepare executives and other Eyeline employees for engagements with the public and press
Coordinate and Lead on-site and virtual internal/external tours, events, photo and video shoots, and executive and key stakeholder engagements
Provide creative direction to editors, graphic designers, and videographers for presentations and video content
Produce high-quality short-form videos (ex. VFX breakdowns, Making Of, Awards Submissions, Capabilities videos) to be used internally and externally
Write, copyedit, and manage posts, press releases, website updates, and other announcement materials to ensure quality and consistency in messaging and style
Qualifications
Senior-level marketing experience within the entertainment, VFX, technology or games industries
Deep fluency at the intersection of entertainment, technology, and creative with a proven ability to harness insights to inform and create campaigns that access cultural/creative zeitgeist
Exceptionally detailed and self-motivated operator with ability to build order at scale–design airtight workflows, maintain single-source-of-truth documentation style, and execute with consistency.
Excellent written and verbal communications, and capable of distilling complex innovations into simple, resonant storytelling.
Strong ability to translate complex product capabilities into clear, resonant narratives for diverse audiences.
Demonstrated operational excellence — adept at managing launches, maintaining calendars, coordinating stakeholders, and driving alignment.
High judgment with the ability to make principled decisions, even amid ambiguity, anticipate risks/dependencies and QA deliverables to reduce errors.
A strong point of view and the ability to effectively socialize and influence across cross-functional teams.
A collaborative, team-player mindset with comfort working independently and proactively.
A strong bias for action, curiosity, and an instinct for connecting dots across culture, product, and business priorities.
Deep intercultural competence with ability to navigate diverse markets with ease shaping messaging, workflows and executions to build trust across regions.
Experienced with enterprise productivity and collaboration tools; proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Airtable, etc and able to rapidly learn new platforms and systems as needed.
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $220,000.00 - $371,000.00.
