We are seeking a Product Manager to join the Finance Product team, focused on building transformative systems for Netflix's Revenue Controllership and Tax teams. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering robust, scalable platforms that enable financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making across the entire Finance organization.
The role is located in-person (Hybrid) in Los Gatos.
In this role, you will partner with Engineering, Tax, and Finance to evolve the systems that serve as the financial backbone of Netflix’s Revenues. You may lead pivotal initiatives, such as the global expansion of our internal tax platform, the implementation of complex regulatory changes, and the financial integration of new business lines and revenue streams into our company’s proprietary subledger. This is an opportunity to build scalable, AI-driven platforms that support the next generation of Netflix’s business models.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Key project and platform management:
Lead the product roadmap of key Netflix financial platforms supporting our core business related to revenue, tax and cash settlement.
Lead the technical strategy and short and long-term response to changes in emerging global regulations.
Manage financial product requirements for emerging business lines, including integrations with 3rd-party systems, F&B point-of-sale (POS) systems, and physical store payment processors.
-
Automation & Financial Intelligence
Drive platform initiatives to further automate finance processes using the existing reconciliation platforms and AI tools.
Focus on scaling the platforms that support Netflix’s financial data processing, ensuring it evolves to handle new payment methods, offers, and business models.
Build out the foundation of Netflix's revenue data
platform which directly drives some of the company’s most critical analytics.
-
Cross-Functional Alignment:
Collaborate deeply with Tax, Legal, Engineering, and Financial Accounting teams to translate complex finance, tax and regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Ensure upstream business innovations (new offers, bundles) are seamlessly integrated into downstream financial reporting.
What you’ll bring:
5+ years of Product Management experience with a proven track record of launching and scaling enterprise data, analytics, or platform products within Revenue and Tax domains.
Familiarity with indirect tax, tax calculation engines, and regional regulatory compliance
Familiarity with financial reconciliation processes (Order-to-Cash), Accounts Receivable, and settlement platforms
Strong understanding of Revenue financial and Accounting processes and systems, with a preference for high-volume international use cases
Ability to work with complex data sets (ledger entries, transaction volumes) and understand the architecture of financial platforms (ERP integrations)
Experience in delivering high-stakes, time-sensitive initiatives (e.g., regulatory deadlines) and prioritizing effectively against concurrent business demands
Ability to analyze complex finance and tax scenarios to develop solutions that are accurate, compliant, and user-friendly.
Bonus if experience with delivering AI or agentic solutions at scale
Ability to build strong relationships, influence without authority, and lead cross-functional teams.
