At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.

Netflix aspires to “entertain the world” by finding amazing stories, and by sharing those stories through a personalized product experience that pleases our members. The Product Finance & Strategy (F&S) team partners with Member Product teams to ensure highly personalized and rewarding discovery and engagement experiences for our members across all devices. We collaborate closely with several teams including Data Science and Engineering, Consumer Insights, Corporate Finance, and Member Product. To guide the business effectively, this role requires evaluating Netflix’s product experience across markets and platforms, tracking market dynamics and competitor trends, and understanding consumer behavior changes to various in-product experiences.

As an individual contributor Manager on this team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Netflix’s member experience, with a particular focus on strategic initiatives. We are seeking candidates who bring exceptional analytical rigor, strong product thinking, and outstanding communication skills to the table. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a history of independently conducting in-depth analyses, building strong product intuition, and proactively identifying insights and opportunities. Success in this role requires comfort with ambiguity, a strong ownership mindset, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Distilling large volumes of quantitative and qualitative information into key insights, tradeoffs, and options to guide stakeholders toward data-driven decisions

  • Partnering with Data and Insights teams to evaluate how changes to the member experience drive user behaviors including engagement, conversion, and churn

  • Developing robust financial and operational models to understand the business impact of new initiatives

  • Conduct competitive and market research, including external benchmarking, to surface areas for product innovation and improvement, and to understand evolving consumer expectations

  • Track market, platform, and consumer behavior trends and translate them into implications and recommendations for our product and business strategy

  • Collaborating cross-functionally to help build and prioritize the product and business roadmap, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and maximizing member lifetime value

  • Translating our initiatives into presentations and memos for cross-functional partners and senior management to facilitate decision-making and disseminate information

What we are looking for:

  • 6+ years of experience in highly strategic and product-facing roles

  • Strong expertise in product analytics, user behavior analysis, and product lifecycle management

  • Strong financial acumen, modeling skills, and comfort managing large sets of data

  • Strong proficiency with Excel / Google Sheets, Google Slides, Tableau and SQL

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to drive cross-functional outcomes

  • Ability to work independently; must thrive in a fast-paced, always-changing environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Skilled in preparing and delivering effective presentations to executive audiences

  • Highly intellectually curious, has the courage to challenge the status quo, and exhibits the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics
