The Team
At Netflix, the mission of our ads business is to build a must-buy advertising solution where clients (marketers and agencies) can reach diverse audiences who are highly engaged with the breadth and quality of our content. The Ads Marketing team shapes our core advertising positioning and drives the go-to-market strategy to bring this positioning to life through compelling, differentiated messaging and activations. By activating these messages across both sales channels (presentations, materials) and broader non-sales channels, the team builds widespread awareness and excitement among our key advertising partners.

The Role
The Global Ads Marketing Operations Manager drives operational excellence and team cohesion by leading cross-functional ways of working, global budget management, and organizational goal-setting initiatives such as OKRs and QBRs. This individual designs and optimizes onboarding processes, internal communications, and project planning frameworks to foster collaboration and operational efficiency. Their expertise shapes team offsites, office hours, and headcount planning, ensuring a cohesive rhythm of business and a high-performing, well-connected team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Team Planning & Operational Excellence

  • Define, manage, and evolve the team’s Rhythm of Business – including office hours, win sharing, and team offsites.

  • Lead organizational goal-setting initiatives such as OKRs and QBRs, partnering with stakeholders for adoption, alignment, and reporting.

  • Design and optimize onboarding processes to ensure a seamless and consistent new hire experience.

  • Develop and maintain project planning frameworks and internal workflows that enable efficient cross-functional collaboration.

  • Support team planning and headcount management, ensuring resources align with business priorities.

Lead Annual / Quarterly Planning & Global Budget Management

  • Spearhead annual and quarterly planning in partnership with the Finance team, seeking to improve project management and simplify communications.

  • Support business leads in budget management, ensuring we properly track expenses and optimize spend.

Strengthen Internal Communications & Ways of Working

  • Drive internal communications (e.g., newsletters, team updates, presentations) in partnership with leadership to keep the team informed and engaged.

  • Foster effective cross-functional (XFN) ways of working by building relationships and aligning stakeholders on priorities, timelines, and accountability.

  • Surface opportunities, diagnose operational pain points, and design streamlined workflows that reduce friction and increase clarity.

Enable High-Impact Team Initiatives

  • Shape and execute team offsites and structured office hours to build a strong, connected, and high-performing team environment.

  • Build and maintain reporting and artifacts, ensuring transparency and progress against key priorities.

  • Anticipate leadership needs and ensure follow-through on critical initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate has...

  • 6+ years in Business Operations, Strategic Program Management, or Marketing Strategy/Operations roles (B2B experience preferred)

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional planning and operational initiatives at a global scale

  • Expertise in designing onboarding processes, internal communications, and project planning frameworks

  • Strong background in budget management and headcount/resource planning

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to tailor messaging for diverse audiences

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-paced environments

  • Familiarity with tools such as Airtable, Google Sheets, and AI platforms

  • High tolerance for change and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

  • Enthusiasm for fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $220,000.00 - $352,000.00.
