Our Experiences team puts fans at the center of their favorite stories, in real life, through permanent entertainment venues, Netflix House, and touring attractions around the world. Netflix Houses are our permanent, always-on, constantly refreshable entertainment venues, where guests can step into their favorite stories. We want these experiences, along with merchandise offerings, to help promote love for our titles so they become part of the zeitgeist for longer periods of time and drive long-term value for Netflix.
As the Retail Program Manager, you will work cross-functionally with internal (Product Development & Creative, House Teams, Licensing, MarComms, Attractions, Operations, Finance/Accounting, Business & Legal Affairs, etc.) and external (Vendors, Agencies, etc.) partners to build the operational plans needed to deliver consumer right assortments to fans at Netflix House. This operations-focused role will ensure the Retail team functions effectively and efficiently across corporate, product development, and store workflows to maximize commerce and conversation. They will own and evolve the Retail Op Model, project management systems/tools, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other needs that keep Retail operating successfully. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Retail Operations with proven success in aligning teams and work to achieve business success while also possessing a curious and solution-oriented operational mindset.

What you will do:
Own and evolve the Retail Op Model, aligning Corporate, Product Development, and Store workflows into an effective and efficient seasonal rhythm
Own the Retail Op Model Calendar and ensure teams have the tools and time needed to hit key deliverables that keeps work moving forward
Align with internal cross-functional teams to ensure Retail is seamlessly integrated into overall Netflix House strategy and plans
Collaborate with Product Development & Creative team to integrate product development timelines and needs to ensure on time product delivery to stores
Partner with Store Teams to deliver the resources and information needed to enable them to achieve revenue targets and deliver positive customer experiences
Own the various project management tools and systems (Monday, Airtable, etc.) to keep workflows on track
Ensure Retail workflows stay on track and collaborate with cross functional teams on needed solutions and pivots
Build and maintain Retail’s standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Be responsible for Retail’s POs and Invoicing in partnership with Accounts Payable, Accounting, and Finance
Look around the corner to predict future needs before they arise, mitigating inefficiencies
What we need from you:
7+ years of experience in a Corporate, Product, or Store Retail Operations role, strong preference for vertical retail experience
Proven experience building a Retail Operating Model from scratch or scaling one in a high-growth environment
A track record of identifying “bottlenecks” in a corporate workflow and redesigning the system to eliminate them
Experience leading cross-functional teams through process shifts with the ability to get “buy-in” on new ways of working
Expert-level proficiency in project management systems like Monday.com, AIrtable, Asana, etc with the ability to build automated workflows, relational databases, and executive-level dashboards
Deep understanding of the Retail Product Calendar and product development timing & actions
Ability to maintain a single version of truth in an environment where dates are constantly shifting
Exceptional technical writing skills with the ability to translate complex corporate strategies into simple, “field-ready” SOPs
Experience creating “compliance checklists” or audit frameworks to ensure store teams are executing the corporate vision consistently
Experience working in a corporate role that supports multiple permanent physical locations
Experience work on “special projects” or new business ventures where there was no existing playbook
Experience managing the operational flow of a high-volume SKU assortment within a consumer products business
Passion for the retail industry, fandoms, and consumer trends
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and digitally
Experience with Google Suite
Global Experience preferred
