As a core leader of the team focused on expanding Netflix's live programming slate, you will drive the development of innovative and novel live-specific discovery, playback, and player experiences, playing a key role in realizing the vision of diverse content partners and creative teams.
In partnership with the cross-functional team, you will set the vision and conceive of ideas that delight members, convert those ideas into well-scoped projects, prioritize smartly among competing efforts, and lead a talented PM team to execute at a high level. You should be comfortable at the hub of a fast-paced environment where you interface daily with cross-functional experts. You can build consensus and alignment but are not afraid to push ahead when there remain some critics and lead in the face of ambiguity.

As Group Product Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our growth strategy, focusing on:

Product Strategy & Portfolio Ownership: Oversee the end-to-end member experience strategy for live programming. This includes leading prioritization across your portfolio, coordinating closely across Engineering, Data & Insights, Content, and Ads team
Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional leaders to articulate a compelling product vision, turn that vision into actionable, well-scoped projects, and prioritize thoughtfully across competing initiatives.
Organizational Alignment & Communication: Ensure the broader organization understands our product strategy and roadmap, fostering transparency. Proactively seek diverse viewpoints to keep our focus on the most critical, strategic work.
What You Bring
Proven Leadership: 8-10+ years in product management, including experience leading growth-oriented product teams and managing people. You have a demonstrated ability to develop and inspire teams to achieve ambitious outcomes. Comfort advocating for a path forward among ambiguous options.
Strategic Thinking & Communication: You’re a strategic thinker and exceptional communicator who excels in both written and verbal forms. You can clearly convey product concepts and lead thoughtful discussions on strategic developments, decision-making, and progress with your team and manager. You have the ability to synthesize the complex into the simple and persuasive, and tell compelling stories with data.
Growth Mindset & High Attention to Detail: You bring a growth mindset and a high attention to detail, understanding how every product element connects to broader team and company goals.
Cross-Functional Expertise: You have experience working in matrixed environments where products or platforms cut across multiple teams and functions. You can strike a balance between being collaborative and open to alternative views vs. decisive and clear communicating the vision for the team.
Technical & Analytical Prowess: You are familiar with ML-powered consumer experiences, with strong experience with A/B testing. You have excellent data-informed judgment.
Experience and Familiarity with Live Streaming: You have experience working on live streaming products at scale, and a good understanding of the live production lifecycle.
