Netflix Animation Studios is seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Assistant to support a key leader within the Animation Film team. This high-profile role demands a candidate with a positive attitude who can remain calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will be driven, resourceful, and adaptable, capable of handling various tasks simultaneously. A passion for the creative process and an intense eagerness to learn are essential traits for success in this position. Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to conduct thorough research and engage in creative problem-solving are crucial. This fast-paced role requires someone with sound judgment and a solid understanding of the entertainment industry, including key talent and filmmakers within the executive's content vertical, who is ready to make an immediate impact.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain and manage the Executive’s complex calendar, ensuring seamless scheduling and coordination of meetings, appointments, and events both internally and externally across multiple time zones.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal/external stakeholders, including high-profile Directors, Artists, Agents, and Producers, while representing the Executive’s office with professionalism and kindness.
Coordinate all aspects of travel arrangements, including booking flights, securing accommodations, arranging ground transportation, managing itineraries for both domestic and international trips, and processing travel and expense reports.
Prepare for and attend meetings to take detailed notes, circulate them to relevant parties, and manage/track any action items that arise.
Coordinate with Administrative Assistants to support projects for the global group and maintain agendas and task lists for meetings and special projects.
Plan and coordinate team events, such as offsites and social events. This may include agenda planning, booking facilities and catering, and tracking budgets.
Create and maintain organizational charts and other trackers, and handle special projects, including creating presentation templates.
Anticipate and prioritize needs, proactively resolving any scheduling conflicts and proposing multiple solutions to address challenges.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years as an Executive Assistant, preferably at a studio supporting senior Creative Executives or at an Entertainment Agency; experience at a media/entertainment company is a plus.
Extensive knowledge of the live-action and animated film landscape, including key players and talent.
Mastery of calendar management, rolling calls, and providing detailed context for all parties.
Advanced proficiency with Google Suite, including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Slides, Google Sheets, and Slack in a business environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multitask and operate well in a fast-paced team-oriented setting.
Resourceful and understands how to navigate stakeholder management.
Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information.
Understanding of the animation film industry talent and representation, is preferred
Familiarity with the animation film pipeline and production process, is preferred
This role is based in the US.
At Netflix Animation Studios, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine your compensation. Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $110k - 160k.
