About The Role

The Marketing Partnerships Creative team collaborates with external brands and agency/production partners as well as internal cross-functional teams to create compelling campaigns, activations, sponsorships, and other innovative solutions across brand and distribution (TelCo) partners. This team is tasked with ensuring partnership programs are rooted in a compelling strategy, crafted at the highest quality, and executed flawlessly.

We are seeking a Creative Leader with strong experience working on brands from various categories. You will own creative campaigns for Netflix’s major partnerships with brands in Spain as well as top creative/media/partnership agencies, across a variety of categories in support of Netflix’s content releases and its platform. This role will be at the forefront of establishing the creative output of our partnerships in Spain, whilst driving our business objectives.

All candidates should demonstrate their deep experience and passion for creative advertising, acute business acumen, and ability to manage flexible and agile teams both internally and externally. Responsibilities:

  • Act as creative leader, guiding and executing best-in-class creative campaigns in service of the Netflix advertising tier and our advertising partners in Spain.

  • Closely partner with Brand Partnerships and Distribution Partnership leads, and lead a small and agile team of creative managers and producers, convincingly representing our creative function within Netflix Spain, and within our EMEA marketing partnerships team

  • Lead the strategic vision for significant brand partnerships for Spain

    • Extracting insights from partners and internal marketing teams to develop and steer the strategic & creative vision from beginning through to execution

    • Distilling the invitation to partners into a compelling pitch deck

    • Identifying brands that might be a good fit and tailoring our approach

    • Writing creative briefs and building foundational concepts that reflect the strategic intersection between the brand and the title

  • Provide guidance and feedback to creative agencies and brands throughout the creative development process

  • Attend partner meetings and manage senior brand and creative relationships. Comfortable fluency in the room alongside senior executives from in and outside of Netflix on the creative and strategic approach taking into consideration business context.

  • Ensure team resources are set up for future success by constantly building, growing and evaluating current creative resources in market (including agencies, freelancers and tooling) to ensure we are set up to execute best-in-class work now and into the future, as our creative output expands

  • Introduce new partners and their agencies to the Netflix brand, creative guidelines and workflow

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including: EMEA leadership team, EMEA creative team, Title Marketing, Partner Marketing, Social, Content, Creative Production, Business development and Public Relations.

Requirements:

  • ~15 years of proven experience in a creative management role (Brand director, Creative Director, Strategy Director, Business Director/Lead role)) within the entertainment, tech, advertising, or related industry in Spain or abroad. Agency experience is a plus.

  • Creative mindset with commercial acumen to bridge ideas and business goals

  • Solid experience and appetite in leading multidisciplinary creative teams, with a track record of establishing a brilliant internal culture that balances collaboration with individual creativity

  • Professional fluency in both English and Spanish, with confident presentation skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrable experience in developing innovative creative solutions in brand and/or consumer marketing. Partnerships experience a plus.

  • Willing to invest the time and effort, beyond personal goals, for the benefit of the overall project.
