We are seeking a Principal Client Partner to serve as the strategic architect of our relationship with Amazon, one of the world's most sophisticated advertisers. In this role, you will operate as a thought partner, shaping enterprise-level agendas and driving multi-year, transformational growth strategies across Amazon's diverse business portfolio. You will represent Netflix Ads at the highest levels of strategic partnership, translating complex market dynamics into actionable competitive advantages.

As a Principal Client Partner, you will set the standard for executive relationship-building and strategic influence. You will navigate the complex organizational landscape of Amazon's multiple lines of business (LOBs), establishing scalable frameworks that drive expansion across sub-categories while maintaining the commercial rigor and creative excellence that define Netflix. This role demands a leader who operates ahead of industry curves, demonstrates mastery across data & technology ecosystems, and elevates the caliber of storytelling and strategic thinking across our organization.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as a consultative thought partner to Amazon LOB leaders, driving annual strategic roadmaps aligned with Netflix's product innovation and commercial objectives

  • Lead programmatic strategy and investments including audience planning, data strategy, analytics and measurement, and creative—communicating complex ideas with clarity and authority

  • Accelerate education and usage of Netflix's scaled media solutions to advance Amazon's long-term growth and foundational 'always-on' business priorities

  • Apply deep industry knowledge and technical expertise to anticipate client needs, expand key relationships, and demonstrate the power of Netflix Ads

  • Partner with agency teams and cross-functional partners (Product, Marketing, Measurement, Brand Partnerships, Live Experiences) to drive internal alignment and cohesive execution

  • Translate macro trends including privacy, streaming, data evolution, artificial intelligence, into actionable strategies that position Netflix ahead of the market

  • Lead high-stakes negotiations and architect long-term, multi-market growth strategies to close annual agreements and multi-year JBPs

  • Support brand partnership opportunities beyond traditional media solutions (Brand Partnerships, Consumer Products, Live Events)

  • Represent Netflix Ads at industry events and maintain close alignment with Amazon stakeholders to maximize strategic impact

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in digital advertising sales, with 8+ years of programmatic experience building and closing enterprise agreements with Fortune 500 clients

  • Demonstrated mastery in shaping enterprise-level agendas and building C-suite relationships that drive transformational growth

  • Extensive advertising partner strategy development and consultative skills with proven track record working across multinational organization leadership teams

  • Advanced technical fluency across data ecosystems, programmatic strategy, measurement frameworks, and privacy-forward solutions

  • Adept at high-stakes negotiation and building scalable, long-term growth strategies across complex holding company structures

  • Proven strategic thinker with ability to analyze scaled audiences and translate insights into specific, measurable tactics and outcomes

  • Exceptional ability to drive cross-functional alignment across sales, product, marketing, and measurement teams

  • Deep understanding of how enterprise clients set priorities and performance goals, and how to align Netflix's product portfolio to fulfill those needs

  • Outstanding executive presence with ability to communicate complex concepts with simplicity and authority to C-suite audiences

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $70k - $515k. A portion of this compensation is variable.
Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off. Full-time salaried employees are immediately entitled to flexible time off.
