We are seeking a Coordinator to support the South Content Licensing team based in Mumbai. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, quick-thinking, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple and diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail are essential. This position offers growth potential and requires curiosity, initiative, and a proactive approach.
The Coordinator will report to the Director - Licensing & Originals, South - India.

Key Responsibilities:
This role serves as the backbone of the content licensing and business teams, managing licensing and original deal workflows. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring content licensing deals and original investment deals, and pursuing operational innovation in the current workflow
Acting as a liaison with various internal stakeholders (such as Marketing, PR, Legal, Operations, Product, Payment, and Content- within India) to coordinate information sharing of the deals and address incoming requests
Tracking and communicating the title schedules and key dates for delivery, payments, start dates, and options between Netflix and external partners.
Conducting market and competitive research as needed. Examples include compiling in-depth research on competitors' offerings and identifying opportunities to improve processes, tools, and systems
Providing on-going deal management by communicating with internal stakeholders(ex. Legal, CPS&O, Operations, Finance)
Supporting the team in team tasks and projects, and increasing the team's operational efficiency
Maintaining flexibility and openness to take on additional projects as necessary or assigned, with a business-friendly mindset and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Qualifications:
6 to 10 years of experience in a licensing role is required.
Familiarity with the studio, entertainment, or media-focused technology industry is a plus
Keen on numbers and data navigation. Finance, analytics, or research experience would be advantageous.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial, with the ability to articulate ideas professionally and effectively in PPT, Excel, and Word
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines and partners with a proactive and independent approach
Strong judgment and critical thinking abilities under tight timeframes are important.
Collaborative and resourceful with the ability to navigate cross-functional work effectively
Proficiency in tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Airtable, along with a good understanding of data navigation
A genuine interest in Indian content and its unique cultural impact
