The Content Finance & Strategy team is looking for an Associate to join its Latin America team based in São Paulo, Brazil. The Content F&S drives the vision and business strategy that provides Netflix with best-in-class metrics, tools, analysis, insights and reporting to make effective content performance and programming decisions. We partner closely with Data Science & Engineering, Content Programming Strategy & Operations, and leadership to do so.

This role will reside in Netflix's São Paulo office.

Responsibilities

• Innovate and develop content performance metrics, frameworks and insights.

• Analyze portfolio investment and performance to develop short- and long-term content planning.

• Conduct ongoing analysis of key business drivers and content trends.

• Execute market research and competitive trends analysis.

• Run valuation and financial models to inform content deals, particularly for high-investment opportunities and emerging content areas.

• Spearhead special projects for senior Netflix leaders and develop recommendations on key strategic issues.

• Streamline and manage key analytical operations and reporting.

• Partnering closely with other Strategy teams as well as Product, Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Data Science & Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a top management consulting firm, investment bank, private equity, hedge fund, and/or media/entertainment/tech company in a strategy/business development/analytical role.

• English and Portuguese language fluency

• Experience conducting quantitative analysis (including modeling) and qualitative analysis and can drive to insight and results using data

• Excellent communication/presentation skills with a track record of presenting complex analysis to executives/senior management clearly and concisely

• Strong initiative and ability to work independently, thrives in a fast-paced, always changing environment

• Highly intellectually curious and has the courage to challenge the status quo and exhibits the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.

• Excellent proficiency with MS Excel / PowerPoint. Working knowledge of statistics and analysis packages is a plus.

• A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, or other relevant field would be ideal.
