Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

We are seeking an in-house Post Production Coordinator to join the UK Film Team, based in London and reporting to the Senior Manager, Post Production, Film UK. In this role, you will organise vital post production information and workflows from prep through to wrap and launch, utilising internal tools and working closely with our cross-functional teams within Netflix for our key films.

You will act as a primary contact for post production matters, supporting the Manager of Post Production, who serves as the main point of contact for all post production activities.

This is not an entry-level position. You will work at a high level with both internal Netflix executives and support local external talent and producers.

We are looking for a dedicated individual with specific Major Motion Picture (MMP) film experience and feature film post production credits. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, post coordinating experience, a passion for film, and the ability to juggle diverse responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on organisation and attention to detail at all times.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Netflix Post Production Manager to ensure a successful post production period for both UK and US titles.

  • Coordinate the onboarding process for production companies and freelance post production teams to the Netflix ecosystem, tools, and resources.

  • Set up, schedule, and coordinate initial kick-off and ongoing post production meetings.

  • Serve as a primary Netflix post production contact throughout prep, production, post-production, and globalisation, supporting the Manager of Post Production who is the main point of contact.

  • Lead the onboarding process (including any required training) for production companies, post supervisors, and post crews to the Netflix ecosystem, tools, and resources.

  • Track and manage post production schedules, keeping internal and external stakeholders apprised of status.

  • Liaise and work with internal cross-functional teams to ensure asset requirements are fulfilled, and identify and escalate potential issues to the Post Production Manager as necessary.

  • Assist with the identification and curation of experienced, high-quality post production staff and crew.

  • Work closely with other coordinators in the UK and US Production and Post Production teams to refine guidelines, align workflows across our slates, and champion our internal systems.

  • Maintain close relationships with coordinators across other UK verticals to ensure alignment across the full UK studio.

  • Collaborate with managers on budget reviews and analysis.

  • Serve as a bridge between productions and internal Netflix teams, ensuring both sides receive pertinent updates promptly.

  • Supervise and track delivery of key assets, both technical and creative.

  • Perform any other duties as necessary to support the productions and the department.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of post production experience on Major Motion Pictures in the UK. Candidates with strong production backgrounds will also be considered.

  • Experience at the Post Production Coordinator level outside of Netflix, with a minimum of 3 Post Production Coordinator credits on high-budget films and/or scripted series.

  • Access to a strong roster of high-quality vendors and crew/creative talent in the UK.

  • A team player who can supervise several projects at various stages of production (from prep through delivery) in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Google Drive, and Movie Magic Budgeting preferred.

  • Familiarity with post-production systems, workflows, and finishing processes.

  • Strong ability to prioritise tasks and respond accordingly.

  • Willingness to continue learning to stay up-to-date with current acquisition, production, and post production processes and equipment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Willingness to take educated risks and think outside the box.

  • Ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential information.
