The EMEA Regional Marketing team aims to bring scalability, innovation, connectivity and efficiencies to the EMEA region. The team comprises 5 different disciplines from Production, Operations, Planning to Studio Relations and Media. The Regional Marketing Planning Director oversees the Planning and Studio Relations disciplines, and plays a key role in ensuring that the regional team remains closely connected to the global organization.

Overview

The Regional Marketing Planning Director for EMEA serves as a vital link between the EMEA region and internal planning partners worldwide. This leader will be the primary point of contact for these partners as we scale efforts around major titles originating from UCAN, LATAM, APAC, as well as Ads and Brand Partnerships, Brand, and Social initiatives. With a comprehensive understanding of the business, spanning campaign development across all EMEA markets and collaboration with cross-functional partners such as Social, Ads, and Brand Partnerships, the Regional Marketing Planning Director will contribute significantly to broader regional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

LEADERSHIP & PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary teams, with the ability to guide with empathy while confidently setting the vision and roadmap for the group.

  • Skilled at fostering cohesion among a diverse group of individuals and disciplines, aligning them toward common goals such as cross-functional partnerships, scalability, efficiency, and support across multiple markets and stakeholders in EMEA.

  • Dedicated to cultivating a strong, shared sense of purpose within the planning team and actively promoting this positive culture among both internal and external partners.

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP

  • Establish strong working relationships with key leaders across UCAN, LATAM, and APAC, as well as within EMEA.

  • Demonstrate broad, forward-thinking strategic insight to help the team anticipate business needs and inform future initiatives that foster regional cohesion.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the global content slate, including upcoming projects outside the region that may impact the team’s work.

  • Proactively seek to understand the strategies, nuances, and ambitions of EMEA markets, leveraging strong regional IQ and EQ to effectively distill and communicate the complexities of EMEA to global stakeholders.

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

  • Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with stakeholders worldwide, including those in Studio Relations, Brand Partnerships, Ads, Brand, and Social.

  • Effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders across various functions and regions, gathering input, understanding different perspectives, and clearly communicating priorities and progress.

  • Optimize partnerships with other global teams to support their initiatives across regions, ensuring the effective allocation and prioritization of shared resources.

REGIONAL INITIATIVES

  • Drive forward-thinking, scalable regional initiatives that anticipate the future needs of the business across various models.

  • Lead strategic planning and execution for a diverse portfolio of regional projects, collaborating closely with senior leadership and in-country teams to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize the allocation of resources.

Candidate Profile

  • 12+ years of experience in stakeholder management and account management.

  • Proven experience leading large, diverse teams across multiple locations and cultures, demonstrating exceptional empathy and people management skills.

  • Deep understanding of creative campaigns lifecycle, from initial concept through to launch. Preferably with entertainment experience.

  • Ability to interact effectively with senior business leaders, showcasing excellent communication skills and executive presence.

  • Exceptional creative problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to rapidly assess new information and propose optimal business solutions.

  • Openness to feedback and actively seeks out diverse perspectives from stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working in ambiguous situations, independently setting goals and desired outcomes that align with broader business strategy.

  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and possesses intellectual curiosity and sound judgment in uncertain situations.
