Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

Sitting within Global Affairs, Policy Strategy Partners (PSP) is a multifaceted and dynamic group providing subject-matter expertise, industry insights and guidance, campaign and project management, creative leadership, and cross-functional connectivity across markets.

The Opportunity

PSP is seeking a Manager to support and grow its Operations & Engagement pillar, a hybrid group implementing, leading, and managing on campaign strategy, external partnerships, narrative development, and end-to-end creative projects (including video production, photography, design, copywriting, and events). The Operations & Engagement team is highly integrated and collaborative, and works across Global Affairs, Communications, Publicity, Marketing, Legal, Product, Events, and Content.

In this role, you will:

  • Bring Policy Instincts: Partner with Global Affairs leads around the world and develop sufficient local expertise in order to identify and design strategic campaign opportunities and offer creative resources for hands-on project management.

  • Increase Strategy and Creative Capacity: Develop best-in-class creative assets for internal and external use, including event planning and management, short videos (sizzle reels, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and animations), web design, and static design (reports, presentations, hand-outs, books, and social media posts).

  • Work Cross-Functionally: Build and maintain relationships across Netflix, leverage relevant internal tools and channels, and act as both a go-to creative resource across all of Global Affairs and a PSP ambassador to the Brand, Social, PAVS, Marketing, and Communications teams.

  • Find Efficiencies: Regularly seek to improve and scale the team’s ongoing advocacy work, and introduce new strategies and workflows. Execute on these findings via research into external agencies, tooling, and creative innovation, to lead PSP in finding new ways to scale ongoing efforts, localize materials, and improve all creative outputs.

  • Be Forward Looking: Collaborate with PSP and Global Affairs teams to identify regulatory developments, trends, and opportunities, and proactively address these issues with both short-term execution plans and long-term campaign strategies.

  • Grow Our Creative Network: Continuously develop a deep roster of trusted external agencies and individual contributors to support PSP in all priority markets.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Media & Communications, Journalism, Writing, Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of proven experience working in creative production at an established agency, media/news group, or in-house at a medium-to-large company.

  • 3-5 years as project manager, team lead, or leading individual contributor.

  • A functional knowledge of the political, media, and entertainment landscape, including current events, news trends, prominent policy challenges, and social media strategy.

What will put you ahead:

  • Experience working in political campaigns, creative PR, corporate policy, or marketing.

  • 2+ years working on a global or large multi-regional team.

  • An eye for public messaging and/or experience with “soft power” policy campaigns.

  • A “jack of all trades” creative skillset, with extensive expertise in at least one field, preferably video production, post-production, writing, or event management.

  • Experience overseeing large projects (i.e. projects with individual budgets over $100,000 and/or timelines spanning beyond six months).

We need someone who:

  • Can hit the ground running and work autonomously, but does not hesitate asking for support, clarity, collaboration, or feedback.

  • Can work cross-functionally with a variety of teams and synthesize a collection of viewpoints into actionable next steps and creative outputs.

  • Can juggle multiple projects at once - often across several teams and timezones.

  • Is willing to travel frequently and internationally.

  • Is intellectually curious, demonstrates great initiative and will welcome the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization.
