As a Sr. Client Partner, you will be responsible for cultivating deep relationships with brand decision makers and driving significant revenue by intimately understanding their business at the vertical and sub-vertical level. This expertise should live across business trends, seasonality, macro impact, performance indicators, consumer behaviors for products/services (i.e. Fashion, Sports, Beauty, Grocery etc), which will enable Netflix to build advertiser-first driven products and measurement solutions, ultimately driving long term success.
You will be expected to operate with excellence within an org structure that seeks to foster direct, long term brand relationships which sustain through alternative buying and execution decisioning (i.e. agency or buying model shifts).
Key Responsibilities:
Works in lock step with Agency Sales Partners to identify, cultivate and close upfront and scatter revenue opportunities on an ongoing basis
Lead the complete sales cycle and execution of all client direct business (including programmatic)
Develops foundational knowledge to form own opinion on relevant aspects of the industry and implications for the business
Understands the role of various buying, planning, and measurement & insights entities at agency, clients, and publishers within the video/TV/Programmatic ecosystem
Develops first draft of account and territory strategy plans before solidifying with input from FLSM or other Agency Sales Partners
Provides guidance to x-functional partners on when and how to leverage available tools to enhance analysis
Challenges ideas in a manner that stimulates creative thinking and promotes growth (while maintaining stakeholder engagement)
We’re Looking for:
10+ years of experience in audience/data driven advertising sales spanning across direct and programmatic, with a proven track record of delivering revenue growth.
Deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem in the US market and an established network of relationships with advertisers
Experience in consultative selling direct to brands across the funnel; i.e. developing Brand + Performance advertising solutions with a track record of delivery and revenue growth.
Strong understanding of the video marketplace dynamics—and how these ecosystems are rapidly converging, including competitive streaming, broadcasters and programmatic partners
Strong expertise in the programmatic ecosystem, including experience working with DSPs, SSPs, and advanced video buying strategies.
Success in going to market with data-driven media insight and planning solutions through both first party solutions and direct integration work with clients or agencies
Experience in unlocking revenue opportunity strategically across XFN teams (i.e. licensing, marketing, merchandising, retail media networks)
Strong analytical (strategic and creative) capabilities and judgment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively cross‐functionally.
A deep curiosity about our global business and an ability to quickly build global IQ and an understanding of regional and cultural nuances
A natural problem-solver who can work through challenges and navigate comfortably in ambiguity.
