The Role

With the incredible launch of our ad-supported model, we are working toward providing more choices for consumers and a premium brand experience for advertisers. We are seeking an Agency Sales Partner in New York to shape our sales strategy for Netflix as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and foster working relationships with key decision makers on both client and agency levels with a focus on Holding Companies and Fortune 500 brands

  • Build on the strengths of the Netflix portfolio of product offerings to close new business while renewing and up-selling existing clients to maximize revenue

  • Prepare proposals and respond to RFP’s with a high degree of professionalism, and quality and in a timely manner

  • Partner with Microsoft, Category teams, and other agency teams to grow revenue across the business

  • Work with Netflix Ad Sales Product, Marketing, Research, and Revenue Yield Management to ensure that client’s needs are being met

  • Negotiate pricing, advertising placement, content, and event concepts

  • Develop sales strategies and sales plans for assigned accounts

  • Create and deliver powerful and persuasive presentations to clients

  • Prospect, identify, and qualify new clients

  • Stay current on video advertising trends and innovations

  • The position requires travel based on agency and client location

Qualifications

  • At least 10-12 years of professional experience in the Advertising industry

  • Proven strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and translate it into specific and measurable tactics, actions, and outcomes

  • Highly skilled in negotiating and selling the intrinsic value of a premium offering to customers

  • Problem solver with the ability to collaborate and work across functions

  • Prospecting and cold-calling skills are necessary

  • Understanding of how our clients set priorities and performance goals, and how we can align our product portfolio to best fulfill those needs

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task, make decisions, and manage at entrepreneurial speed

  • Strong, confident presentation skills

  • Strong analytical (strategic and creative) capabilities and judgment.

  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively cross‐functionally.

  • Open to the challenge of starting a new business, comfortable with risk, uncertainty, and ambiguity.

  • Prospecting and cold-calling skills are necessary

  • Experience selling live sports

The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $70,000-$420,000. A portion of this compensation is variable.
