Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with 283 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

The Role

At Netflix, we launch a high volume of titles regularly to meet the entertainment needs of our growing member base. The scale and quality of our launches are paramount to our success in bringing these stories to the right audience at the right time. The Launch Manager ensures that we launch our portfolio of titles at the highest quality and in the most efficient way possible to maximize member joy.

The Launch Manager role is unique as its scope requires a deep understanding of our product behavior and a mindset that is equally precise on local execution as it is on strategic judgment calls. The LM’s role is to optimize the content and product strategy, and we do this via effective management of our highest impact areas, leading cross-functional alignment on a portfolio level, and being part of initiatives on innovating and productizing new product experiences. Thorough knowledge of the local and vertical strategies, business nuances, and technical troubleshooting paired with strong partnership investment with stakeholders will be critical to our success.

You will be part of a larger Product Discovery and Promotion team that will innovate approaches, develop scalable solutions, work with teams to drive promotional impact on the UI, and drive excellence in every single one of our launches in Latin America (LATAM) so that we can work smarter, increase efficiency and more importantly increase joy for our members on the Netflix platform. This role is based in Argentina and focused on supporting the LATAM content slate.
In this role, you will:

Own a portfolio of titles within the LATAM content slate. While multiple teams (internal or external) get involved at different times along the launch journey for deliverables, you will be overseeing the quality of the launch.
Be an expert of the Netflix product and advise our stakeholders on means to improve how members interact with the title on the Netflix platform.
Maintain the quality of the launch and mitigate risk to launch by being proactive, exercising sound judgment, and informing and influencing stakeholders.
Partner with internal and external teams and serve as the primary point of contact for the title on strategic operational matters.
Constantly evaluate our workflows with the intention of improving our efficiency and effectiveness in launching titles.
Troubleshoot urgent issues cross-functionally and jump in operationally as needed, in service of the member experience

The ideal candidate:
A good balance between analytical and creative thinking—the ability to understand the pulse of our members and put oneself in their shoes, an appreciation of content nuances and needs, and an appreciation and fluency in articulate product principles.
Mid-to senior-level program and project management experience with a strong grasp of operations.
Possesses an analytical mindset and a bias towards solving for impact and scale
Strong stakeholder management skills and a good team player.
A passion for operations and a thirst to do more with less, to work smarter, not harder.
Be well-informed about the Netflix product experience.
Happy to take accountability and drive initiatives.
English and Spanish fluency - written and spoken.
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
The ability to exemplify the Netflix culture and values.

Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates. If you want an accommodation/adjustment for a disability or any other reason during the hiring process, please send a request to your recruiting partner.
