The Role
At Netflix, we have grown past 280 million paid memberships in over 190 countries and we aspire to reach many millions more. In the partnership world, this means that we have to make sure Netflix is accessible on billions of devices such as TV operator set-top boxes, smart TVs, a streaming media player (SMP), a mobile phone, and other streaming devices. We also want to make sure that our members are getting the latest and the greatest Netflix experience across these devices. The fragmented technologies behind these different device categories, the different product experiences each device offers, and the unique engagement model with each device partner create an interesting challenge for us to scale globally.
